Chris,

"What you wanna do today?" Lani asked jumping on top of me.

"Well, I'm tryna go to the trap to handle Nick but I guess that can wait if you want." I said holding her slim waist. She laid her head down on my chest.

"No, you can go. I'll call Chyna, maybe me and her can do something."

"You sure?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yes I'm positive. When are you leaving tho?" I shrugged.

"Maybe in about another hour or so."

"OK. I was just asking. For now just hold me." I chuckled wrapping both arms around her tightly. The love I have for Lani is growing within each day.

I don't think about any other bitch when I'm with her. There's no need because she fulfills my every need. I'm not letting her go anywhere.

Lani,

"Did you make the appointment?" Chyna asked as I looked through the many racks of clothes in Pink store.

"Yea, its actually tomorrow...." I said and her eyes grew wide.

"Why you set it so early?" She asked and I shrugged.

"I just really wanted to get it over with to be honest." She nodded in understanding.

"Well what time?"

"8am." She sighed.

"That's when I go to work...." She said more to herself than to me.

"Its OK I can go alone. I'll tell you how it went." She nodded.

"Alright but let's finish shopping before I have to pick king up from my mom." We went to about thirty more stores before it was time for us to leave. I got in Chris' black Range Rover pulling off quickly.

When I got home Chris was still gone so I just cleaned up the house then took a shower and laid down.

"Moore..." The nurse called my name and I stood up giving her a genuine smile.

"That's me." She returned the smile shaking my hand.

"Follow me," I did as told following her to the room I would be in for my check up.

"OK, just sit there for me." She said pointing over to the bed thing while she put on some gloves.

"What brings you in today?" I was getting nervous and I had no idea why.

"Um, I've been throwing up a lot lately..and sleeping for long periods at a time." She nodded writing that down on her paper.

"OK, imma give you this to pee in then the doctor will be in soon." She handed me a small cup and I left out the room going to the bathroom.

When I was done I took the cup back in the room with me sitting it down on the counter. Seconds later the door open and a Arab chick ( no offense ) walked in. She smiled at me happily.

"Hi, I'm Dr. Fodly, you must be Lani." I nodded my head.

"That's me."

"OK, did you pee in the cup?" She asked and I nodded pointing to it.

"Great. I'll take this now to get scanned and everything. That will take up to 30 minutes, are you gonna wait for the results or do you want me to mail it to you?" I would definitely have to wait. If she mailed it Chris can easily get it.

"I'll wait." She nodded grabbing the cup full of piss walking out the room leaving me to my lonesome.

"What the hell am I gonna do for thirty minutes in here?" My phone started to ring and a picture of Chris along with his name flashed across my screen. I got a nervous feeling in my stomach as I slid the green icon across the screen.

"Hey baby....." I said as normal as possible.

"Wassup bae. Where you at?" He asked and my stomach tightened.

"I'm....uh...at the mall..." I said the first the that came to mind.

"Oh OK. How long you go be gone?"

"I'll be back in about an hour."

"Alright. Call me when you get home cause I might me at the trap." I nodded even though he couldn't see me.

"OK." Our call ended and I laid back on the hospital bed. Maybe I could take a twenty minute nap.

"Lani....." Someone said shaking me. My eyes flew open and I saw the doctor standing next to me. This was really embarrassing.

"Um..I'm sorry." I sat up all the way.

"Your fine, I would've did the same thing." I giggled a little.

"You found out what was making me sick?" I asked and she nodded with a wide smile.

"Yes and according to the results your a month and a half pregnant." That was perhaps the best and worse news I've ever gotten.

Its the best because I really want a child and I'm happy that the baby is Chris' but its the worst because I don't think he wants a baby with me.

"Is this a bad thing?" She asked with a concerned look. Honestly I don't even know.

"Um...no...I don't know.....maybe." I was suddenly beginning to feel stressed. My phone rang again and like before it was Chris.

"Hey baby...." I said casually.

"Hey, bring some food on your way home." I was beginning to think he just calling cause he bored.

"OK. What you want to eat?" I asked him.

"Whatever you feel like bringing."

"OK bye I love you."

"Love you too." I put my phone back in my purse hopping up off the bed.

"If you don't mind me asking, was that the baby's father?" Dr. Fodly asked and I nodded.

"Yea..."

"And he doesn't know..." I shook my head this time.

"Nope...."

"Why don't you talk to him about it?" I honestly don't know anything. I really want my child but if Chris isn't ready I don't know what imma do.

"I don't know....I'm scared...." I mumbled but I know she heard me.

"You will never know how he feels until you talk to him about it." I know she right. I gotta talk to him about this.
