"I was beginning ta think ya bailed out on me." August said as I entered the abandoned warehouse. The lights flicked on and he stood there with Lani by his side. She looked like she would shit on herself at any moment.

"You thought wrong now what the fuck do you want?" I stood there with no expression. All I could think of was his body dropping to the floor as his life left it.

"I would watch the tone if I was you." I chuckled.

"I ain't gotta watch shit, I'm a grown ass man." I stated bluntly causing him to chuckle. He turned to Lani.

"This is why ya here. Ya man can't seem ta watch who he talkin too baybeh." He smirked tryna touch her hair but she stepped back.

"Aye nigga you wasting my damn time. What the fuck do you got me here for?" I was growing impatient with this nigga.

"You'll soon find out." He grabbed Lani roughly and outta reflex I steeped up to his ass just as three other nigga entered the room mugging me.

"Imma need you to let my girl go." That slipped out but I don't take it back. Shit she go be mines soon anyways, might as well get used to saying it.

"Or what? These nigga would have ya body full of bullets before you can reach yo wack ass weapon." He said and deep down inside I knew his ass was right. They got me surrounded.

It got quiet for a few minutes but then a bullet shit through the window and we all dropped to the floor. Bullets began flying from all directions as Lani sat there plugging her ears from the noise.

"Get up!" I yelled grabbing her hand I grabbed my guns from my waist and handed her one. She looked from me to the gun with he eyebrows raised.

"Do you remember what happened last time." I sighed.

"This ain't the time. Either you go start shooting mutha fuckas or yo body go be the next thing to drop." I wasn't go let that happen but I needed her to focus.

All of a sudden Redd, Tyga, and Mijo bust in like they were the damn police. I saw August grab Lani and quickly run out the room with her so I chased his ass.

He started running into another room that had a bunch of stairs but he ran up them anyway dragging Lani with him. I followed and when we got to the top we were on the roof of the building. He had Lani in a choke hold with a gun to her head.

"Game over Chris, I won. One pull from tha gun and yo guh will be laid out in front of ya." He said smirking evilly. Lani was crying silently to herself. My blood pressure grew.

"Let her go, she ain't do shit. You got beef with me so why is it that you always come for her? Let her, put the gun down and fight me." I said throwing my gun to the side. He just laughed, even though I was dead ass serious.

"Oh now you wanna fight? Get on with that shit before I throw her off this damn building." He said and I shrugged.

"Go head. Ion like her for real anyways. She got too much attitude. Do it." Every word I spoke I knew I was bluffing. The more I said I didn't like her the more feelings came rushing to me.

He looked at me skeptically not knowing if I was bluffing or not. He smiled swinging her around and she was inches from falling. I heard her scream and I swear my heart stopped.
"Chris!" She screamed as I tried to get to her. He pointed the gun directly at me making me stop in my tracks.

"This shit ain't ova." He said before grabbing Lani about to jump off the building. I was low key panicking in my head but just as they jumped off the building I grabbed Lani's hand holding onto her.

"Chris I'm falling!" She screamed with dried tears on her face. I could see new ones forming in the brim of her eyes.

"I gotchu shortie." I struggled to pull her up but once I did she held onto me for life and I had no problem with that.
