When will the pain go away,
When will the darkness cease,
When will my mind stop turning,
Around a shallow grave,
When will the cravings cease,
When will the darkness end,
When will beauty ever come again,
Will the storm go away,
Will the clouds turn white,
I sit her in my room,
Wishing I could die,
When will the weight be lost,
When will I not be obese,
When will the stains of my past,
Come up from deep beneath the sea,
When will the smiles come,
When will the frowns fade.
When will the depression fade,
And a new life begin,
When will the bird sore,
Far above the sky,
To reach the rainbow far above,
That comes after the rain,
When will the darkness fade,
And the sun go shinning through,
When will the happiness rise ,
Above the ocean blue.
When will the pain go away,
That I may never know,
Because I fear that my past shame,
Will eat me up inside,
Until all but dust remains,
Deep inside my soul.
