I woke up to the sound of monitors. I looked up and saw Jesse looking down at me. "Scarlett, thank god you're ok!" He exclaimed as he hugged me. "What happened?" I asked him as I rubbed my temples. "You were in a car crash. You were with Adam, Liza, and Sam at a red light, when someone rear-ended you. They were going 50 miles an hour." Jesse said.

"Wait, how are Sam and Liza? Are they ok?" I asked him. "Sam and Liza are fine. They have a few scratches, but they are fine." Jesse said. He looked like he was holding something back. "Jesse, is Adam ok?" I asked him. He just stood there silently. "Oh my god!" I exclaimed as tears started to roll down my cheeks. "Is Adam.....dead?!" I asked him. "Oh god no! He's just..." Jesse said. "He's what! Tell me Jesse!" I exclaimed.

"Adam is in a coma. He has some brain trauma and they have already performed two surgeries. It's not looking good for him," Jesse said. I buried my face in my hands and started to cry again. "Miss Carmichael?" asked a nurse. "That's me," I said as I looked up at her.

"You are fine and the babies are healthy," She said. "Woah. Excuse me?" I said. "You're pregnant Miss Carmichael, 4 months to be exact," She said. "But you said babies," I said looking at her with shock. "Yes, you're having twins. Congratulations," She said before she started to walk away. "Wait," I said. "Yes?" She asked. "Do you know what gender they are?" I asked her. She walked back over to me and checked my chart.

"One girl and one boy," She said before she walked away again.

"Oh my gosh," I said. "Wow, well congrats Scarlett," Jesse said. "Congrats on what?" Matt asked as he walked into my room with James and Mickey. "I'm 4 months pregnant. A boy and a girl. Twins." I said. "Wow, congrats! I guess that night in Paris did you some good, huh?" James joked. Matt nudged him in the side. "Shut up," Matt said.

I looked down at my stomach which still held my belly button ring. I hadn't gotten very big. I had a little bump forming, but it wasn't as big as I expected to be at 4 months. I took my belly button ring off and put it in my purse.

"We heard about Adam, do you want to go see him?" James asked. "Yes please," I said. James and Jesse helped me up and they led me to Adam's room.

Room 222

"Let's hope 222 does some good for him," James said as he opened te door. I walked in first and went over to Adam's bed. He had about 10 ivs hooked up to him and he had an oxygen mask. Tears immediately started flowing down my cheeks. All of a sudden, there was a loud beep and I was surrounded by a doctor and 3 nurses. "He's flatlining," The doctor said. Jesse pulled me back to the wall and I watched the doctor shock Adam 3 times with the defribrillator.

"Miss Carmichael?" The doctor asked. "Yes?" I said. "Step into the hall with me for a moment." He said. I followed him out of the room. "It's not looking good for Adam," He said. "How bad is it?" I asked him. "At this point, his survival rate is about 5%." He said. "Is there anything else you can do to help him?" I asked. "There isn't much more we can do. I'm sorry Miss Carmichael, but you should prepare yourself for saying goodbye." He said before he walked away.

I leaned against the wall and slid down to the floor. I started sobbing. I couldn't lose Adam. He's the love of my life and we are going to have 2 kids. I can't lose him. If I do, I don't know what will happen to me.

My sobs were interrupted by Sam and Liza running over to me. "Scarlett!" They exclaimed. I watched Patsy and Michael approaching behind them. I wiped my tears away and stood up to hug them. "Hi guys," I said. "How are you doing?" Michael asked. "Well, I'm 4 months pregnant with twins," I said. "What? When did you find out?" Patsy asked. "About 30 minutes ago, it's a boy and a girl," I said. "Congrats," Patsy said.

"You're having a baby?" Liza asked. "2 babies," I said. "Yay!" Sam and Liza exclaimed. "Why don't you two go visit Adam," Michael said as he opened the door for them. He shut the door once they were inside and walked back over to Patsy and I.

"How's Adam doing?" Patsy asked. "They said the chance of him surviving is 5%." I said as the tears started again. Patsy hugged me and just held me in her arms. Michael wrapped his arms around us. "Shhh, it's going to be alright," He whispered in my ear.

Suddenly, I heard a scream come from Adam's room.
