Scarlett's POV

We set Violet and Noah down and walked into a small room with Mrs. Marks. "Have a seat," She said. Adam and I sat down across from her.

"Mr. and Mrs. Levine, have Violet and Noah been acting... differently at home?" She asked. "Not really, why?" I said. "Are they hyper a lot?" She asked. "No more than normal 3 year olds," Adam said. "Why? Did something happen in class?" I asked her.

"Well Noah spoke out of turn multiple times today. When told to do something, he would refuse or start running around the classroom. Violet never spoke out of turn, but she did have trouble waiting for her turn to do things. And they both tend to not finish things they start. Mr. and Mrs. Levine, I have reason to suspect that Violet and Noah have ADHD." She said.

"Does anyone in your family have ADHD?" She asked. "I do," Adam said. "Alright, so I recommend you take them to their pediatrician and have their symptoms looked at. I'm not positive that they do, but there is a possibility," She said. "Ok, thank you. See you tomorrow," I said before Adam and I got the kids and left.

Once we got home, the kids ran into the playroom and I went to sit on the couch. Adam sat next to me and pulled me onto his lap. "How could I not recognize the symptoms?" Adam said. "Adam, it's not your fault. They never act like that at home." I said. "I should have seen it coming," He said. I pulled Adam's face to mine. "Baby, it's not your fault. All we can do now, is help them," I said before I gave him a quick kiss and got up to call their pediatrician.

Adam's POV

Scarlett got up to go call the pediatrician while the kids came running into the family room. "Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" They screamed. "Shhh, mommy's on the phone," I said. "Oops," They said as they sat on the couch on either side of me.

5 minutes later, Scarlett came back into the room and sat next to Violet. "You two have a doctor's appointment tomorrow," She said as she pointed at Noah and Violet. "Mommy, what's on your wrist?" Violet asked as she ponited at Scarlett's arms.

She held out her wrists to show Violet and Noah. "Mommy got tattoos of your names," I said. "Mommy, you got tattoos like daddy?" Noah asked. "Yes, but not a lot of tattoos like daddy," Scarlett said. "They're pretty, mommy," Violet said. "Thank you baby," She said. Violet started tracing her finger over the fresh tattoo. "Is it going to come off?" She asked. "No, they are there forever," Scarlett said. "Oh," Violet said.

Scarlett's POV

The next day, after we picked Violet and Noah up from school, we took them to the pediatrician. When we walked inside, Adam sat with the kids while I signed them in.

"Hello Mrs. Levine," The receptionist said. "Hi Laura," I said. "You're right on time. You can head to room 2. Dr. Adkins is waiting for you," She said. "Thanks," I said before I turned around to face Adam. "Come on guys," I said before we headed to room 2.

When we walked in, Violet and Noah ran to the chairs to sit down and Adam and I sat next to them. "Hi Scarlett, Adam," She said. "Hi Dr. Adkins," I said. "Hello Violet, hello Noah," She said. "Hi!" They exclaimed.

"So we are testing them for ADHD?" Dr. Adkins asked. I nodded my head. "Alright, you and Adam can wait outside. It's going to take about 30 to 40 minutes," She said. "Alright, we'll be back soon," I said to Violet and Noah before Adam and I left.

We sat in the waiting room. I leaned my head on Adam's shoulder. He held my hand the whole time. I was scrolling through Twitter, when I got a text from my best friend Stacy, who's dating Jesse.

Come to the hospital, now! Jesse got into a car crash!
