Just Friends, Right?

*Alan's POV, next day*

"You told me they were just friends." I glared at Austin. "Because I want her to be happy Alan." I rolled my eyes and got up angrily. I immediately got up to find Karliah. "Alan don't ruin that for her." Tino said as I brushed passed him. I scoffed and slammed the door shut. Katie kissed me, I ended things with her the moment Karliah walked out the door. I don't know why she was here yesterday but I made her leave. I looked up and saw Karliah eating with Vic and I started second guessing on if I should talk to her. I know she's getting on good terms again with her brothers, well that's what I heard. I don't want to interrupt them if that really is the case. I realized I zoned out while starring at her and she noticed. She nodded to Vic before standing up. I could turn around and leave, I should drop it but now I can't move.

"Can I help you?" She asked nervously. "I zoned out." I said quietly scratching the back of my neck awkwardly. I looked down at the ground in an attempt to gather all my courage. "You and Andy, you're just friends right?" Karliah only stared at me. She looked completely unfazed. She blinked a few times and sighed. "No." She finally said. I gulped and nodded my head a few times.

I was expecting a question about Katie but no more words left her mouth. She just stood there starring at her belly. "Is something wrong?" I asked getting slightly panicked. "Put your hand right here." She pointed. I slowly moved my hand to her stomach and I felt the hard kicks startling me at first.

"Your voice woke him up." She said quietly. "He hears everything that goes on. He really likes Sleeping With Sirens." She laughed softly. "How much longer?" I asked getting down on my knees. "Two weeks. We'll have a baby in two weeks." I let her words sink in as I put my other hand on her stomach. I sniffled slightly, "Do you mind?" Karliah shook her head and smiled. "He likes to hear your voice."

"I'll see you in two weeks, you better be on time." I cried slightly. "Oh, Alan." Karliah sighed. "Come here." She helped me up and pulled me into a hug. "I can't believe he's coming that soon." I sniffled. "Time flies." She mumbled. "We haven't even picked a name!" I exclaimed my nerves taking over. "Heyyyy. We can discuss it. We still have time." Karliah put her hand on my shoulder to calm me down and it worked. I'm happy I still have her.

"I just don't want to be a terrible father." I sighed sitting down on a bench. "Then don't be." Karliah sat down next to me and leaned back. "Jinx is a wonderful father, he could give you some tips." She suggested with a shrug. "How do I even bring this up?" I asked looking up at her. Talking to Jinx meant that I would be around Andy and I would rather not be around him.

"Alan he'll help you. But I need to go, uhm tomorrow lets have dinner and discuss possible names??" She sounded very hopeful. "6 work good?" I asked standing up. "Works perfect." She smiled. "Hopefully we'll have a name for you." She smiled rubbing her belly. "Don't stress Alan." She nodded before walking away leaving me even more conflicted then before.

*Karliah's POV*

I sat down next to Vic instead of sitting across from him and laid my head on his shoulder. "Vic I'm so scared, I'm not ready." I mumbled quietly. "You don't know it yet but you are Hails, you're the strongest person I know." Vic sighed putting his arm around me.

"I wish I could believe you Vic but I can't on this one." I mumbled closing my eyes. "We'll get through it like we always do." Vic squeezed me in reassurance. I nodded slowly accepting it and closed my eyes.

"I saw Katie yesterday." I decided to drop it. "Did she do anything to you?" Vic asked after a moment of silence. "No, just sucked Alan's face off while he starred at me." Vic put his other arm around me and kissed the top of my head. "Mike might go crazy." Vic sighed.

I didn't even think about that. Mike has been over Alan's shit but hasn't said anything to him since I asked him not to but I know he's only gonna listen for so long. "I know." I gulped.

"I suppose that's why he looked so awkward while talking to you?" Vic questioned. "I didn't bring it up actually, he just asked if Andy and I were just friends and then we talked about the baby." Vic gave me an odd look but just nodded.

"Tomorrow we're going to discuss names for him, I'm actually looking forward to it." I smiled. Vic's features softened but he still didn't say anything. He was in deep thought. I accepted Vic's silence and decided to stay quiet.

"Can I steal Vic for a bit?" Kellin asked walking up to us. "Yeah." I smiled standing up. "Katelynne wants to invite you over for dinner as well soon." Kellin smiled. "Id love that." I smiled as I retreated back to PTV's bus. I was extremely tired and needed my vitamins.

"Karliah!" Uh oh. I turned around to see Juliet running up to me looking out of breath. "Hi." I said stopping. This is probably going to end badly. "Do you know where Andy is? I really need to talk to him." She looked really worried but I hadn't spoken to Andy all day. "I don't know where he is, I haven't talked to him today or seen him." But in my defense I was with my brother. "Damn, okay. Can you tell him I'm looking for him though? It's really important." She pleaded. "I will." I nodded before walking away. She seems not to know about us or she doesn't care.

I pulled out my phone and texted Andy letting him know before I reached my bus. I opened the door and saw Tony sitting inside all alone. "Tone, you good?" I asked sitting next to him. "Not really but what is there to do?" He shrugged. "Take a nap with me?" I asked with a grin. "You know I can't say no to that." He gave a small smile.

"Karliah I have to ask." Tony said getting completely serious. "Do you still have feelings for Alan?" I looked at my toes. I really didn't want to answer that question because I hated the answer. "I'll always have feelings for him, he's the father of my son and we'll always have that bond but that's it. I'm not acting on those feelings anymore." Tony's face softened and he looked down. "Karliah, I'm sorry." And with that Tony erased all space between us and crashed his lips down on mine.
