*Karliah's POV*

"We've been friends for a while and we tell each other everything." Amelia began. "Mhm." I said sitting up. "So you know how I briefly mentioned that I had a very important doctors appointment?" Amelia carried on twiddling with her thumbs. "What are you trying to say?" I said looking Amelia in the eye. "The doctors informed me that I can't have kids, my body won't carry so I'll keep on having miscarriages." Amelia said looking down. "How are you doing?" I asked scooting close to her. "Well it was extremely devastating at first but I've been learning to cope with it but I couldn't stand not telling you." Amelia mumbled leaning on me. "Honey, I admire how strong you are. We'll get through this." I said putting my arms around her. "But I do have some good news." Amelia said pulling away. She held out her hand and how did I not notice that ring before. "He proposed?!" I said jumping up. "We already set the date. Five months." Amelia smiled. "Does he know about the..?" I said trailing off. "Yes and he's as devastated as I am. He really wants a little boy." Amelia said looking down. "At the appointment the lady said that I could always have a sergeant mother." Amelia said looking at me. "I would have a baby for you." I said making Amelia tear. "Karliah you literally are the best thing that has happened to me." Amelia said flinging herself on to me. "You keep me alive Amelia, it's the least I could do." I said wiping away a tear. "When do you want to do this?" I asked holding her hand. "Any time." Amelia said still crying. "Why not now?" I asked. Amelia pulled out her phone and called Jinx. Apparently they've been off and on for years and I never knew but then again, I never asked. They broke up because of tours but got back together once he was done.

"So I heard what you're doing for Jinx and Amelia." Andy said pulling out a cigarette. "So he told the band?" I asked and Andy nodded. "You're a one of a kind person, don't let anyone tell you different." Andy smiled. "Thanks Andy, you hungry?" I asked and he nodded. "Let's go get food." He said putting his arm around me. "So how're you and Juliet?" I asked putting my arm around him. "Great, it sucks that she can't be here right now. She's been working so hard on her new album." Andy said looking up at the sky. "You two gave me hope." I said quietly. "Really?" Andy said looking down and I nodded. "I haven't been lucky but then Alan came and I'm blessed." I said being all sensitive. "So he really proposed then." Andy said taking my hand. "Yeah, he used the help of a kitten which Vic took to my moms house to my displeasure." I said as Andy began inspecting my ring. Lunch went by fast and so did the rest of the day. Andy and I lost track of time as we adventured around and took photos and made little videos. "Andy look, it's a shooting star." I said pointing up at the sky. "Do you believe in miracles?" Andy asked and I gave him a small smile. "Yes." I said looking at the sky again. "Good." Andy said walking me to Of Mice's bus. "Thanks for today." Andy said giving me a hug. "Today was needed. We haven't been able to truly hangout and we finally got that. Take care of yourself. Tell Jinx that I'm ready whenever he is." I said and Andy nodded, disappearing into the dark of the night.

"Where have you been?" Alan asked grabbing a beer. "I lost track of time with Andy." I said sitting down. "As long as you were safe." Alan smiled. "Alan you never gave me a full answer for how you feel about what I'm doing." I said quietly. "I feel that it's your body, your decision and what your doing is something amazing." Alan said taking my hand. "Thank you for giving me so much support. I'm sorry I haven't been up to par lately but I'm back now. I feel like I'm me again." I smiled giving him a light kiss. "It's okay. So the band is out partying and wasn't be back for a bit." Alan said with a wink. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him to the bunks. He definitely deserved this.

"That felt really weird." I said holding my stomach. "Do you feel okay?" Amelia asked. "Yeah, I feel great. I'm just not used to something being implanted." I said making Amelia laugh. Amelia was in the room holding my hand while Jinx waited outside. "Did it work??" Jinx asked walking up to us. "We'll know in a couple of weeks." Amelia said quietly. "Be on your best behavior please." Jinx begged. "Oh trust me I am." I smiled.
