Heart Like Stone & Soul Black as Coal

Chapter 3

I stand in front of the gates of Black Peek High. A highs school for witches and wizards. I can see all the divided groups of students. We have the jocks,the plastics,the goths,the nerds,a couple of loners around the place and the popular crowd. Yeah,this might be a witch high school but the atmosphere is the same as a human high school. The only difference,we have magic.

I walk down the halls with my chin held high in confidence ,and just as expected,everyone stares at me. Some have a look of amazement while others look like they have just shitted their pants. I can here all the whispers.
-"Is it her?"
-"Can it be?"
-"She looks just like Asura"
-"What is she doing here?"
And just by that very comment I turn to the person. A small brunet with big green eyes stares back at me. Her knees shaking.
-"What did you say?",I ask.
-"Wh-what?",she stutters.
-"I said for you to tell me what you said." By now the hall has fallen silent. Listening very intensely to this very,small conversation.
-"I do-don't know what you m-mean"
Of course she does.
-"You asked ,What am I doing here, well,what the hell do you think I'm doing here. I am surely not using this disgusting hallway as a runway. Let me tell you. I'm here because from now on I am going to be attending this school. I am not here to greet you all or send an undying threat from my mother to the principle. So don't ask stupid questions and shut your mouth or I'll shut it for you." With those simple words I kept on walking leaving everyone in the hallway shaking. How I love doing that.

I reached the registration office. The secretary was working on her paper work and was a little to oblivious of my presence. I started drumming my fingers to catch her attention,which worked just fine. She probably didn't recognize me because the pour old hag just looked at me and asked for my name.
-"Jade. Jade Belladonna."
When I said my name she froze. One would have thought she turned to stone. Trembling,she looked up to my eyes.
-"Be-Belladonna. As in the daughter of A-Asura Be-Belladonna?" she asked fearfully.
-"In the flesh and skin . Now,if you would do me the honor of doing your job and giving me my locker combination and schedule, that would be great." I said with a sickly,fake,sweet smile.
-"O-of course. Here you go."
-"Thank you",I said and walked of.

Locker number 224. While in search of it I ignored all the stares of this ridiculous people. What,do I look like an alien or something?
I finally find it and open it. Placing all the school shit inside of it. When I am done the bell rings signaling for me to go to class. When I am almost there some assholes are brave enough to wolf whistle when I walk by them. I stop dead in my tracks and look back at them. There all smirking like this is amusing to them. I mentally role my eyes. There all so desperate. But instead of arguing I just send them a flirtatious wink,that has them with their jaws touching the ground out of complete surprise. Guess they weren't expecting that.Just with the mere thought of it and I send them all flying to the lockers behind them.

I finally enter the classroom were everyone,as expected,stares at me. God is it such a surprise to have me here? Is it so shocking? I sit down in one of the chairs on the back while everyone's gaze follows me.
I stare back at all of them,and finally the teacher who clears her throat and begins.
-"Well class,today we have a new student.Jade would you like to present yourself to the class?".I can see her swallowing a gulp.
-"Is it necessary?I mean,just by the look on all of your faces I know that you know who I am."
-"Of c-course.Well then let's begin."

And then she starts explaining all the simple spells of mind control that they are gonna be learning. There all such easy spells but I do agree that I am going to have a lot of fun doing some of these to people.

I'm on my way to the cafeteria for lunch. People open like the red sea when the sea me. I look around and see that there are no empty tables for me to sit. I guess some people are just gonna have to move. I spot a table at the back,were the cheerleaders and jocks are. That's the one,I smirk.
I head over to the table and stand right in front of it. The whole cafeteria falls silent.
-"Umm... What do you want?" A cheerleader with a very nasally voice asks.
-"This table." I say flatly,"So do me the honor of moving your slutty ass out of my way."
She chuckles like if I had just said a joke and says"Excuse me?"
-"You heard me. Move or I'll move you"
One of the jocks out of pure fear starts to stand up but the cheerleader ,which I am going to call nasal voice,waves her hand signaling for him to sit down.
-"And what do you think,that because your mother is feared that you should be to?"
-"I don't think that you should. I think that you do need to fear me. Didn't you hear me?If you don't move I'll move you. So,since your not moving,I'm going to." And faster than she could blink,I flicked my hand and they were all flying out of their chairs and to the table besides this one. Now they were all covered in food.
-"I told you,but you just wouldn't listen." I faked pouted. With that I sat down. Everyone was still looking at me and it was getting irritating.
-"Everyone!Shows over get back to whatever the fuck you were doing!" And with that every body,nervously and quickly,go back to whatever damn thing they were doing.

After I eat I get bored so I go outside for a little walk. This is one of the many things I hate about this town. It's always so gloomy. Dark clouds are always covering the sky even though it barely rains and there is always fog. Mothers says it's because of the magic that lingers in the air. I say because its a shitty town. I would love right now to go outside the school walls and into the woods but the stupid gates have an enchantment were they don't open until three o'clock,were the day in hell finally ends,but,like my curse,it's unbreakable. At least that doesn't stop me from cutting class. I walk around the grounds and find myself with a weeping willow tree. God I love these trees,there so mysterious. I walk towards it and through all the vine till I slump against the trunk. When I am in places like this I like to mind travel. It's much like daydreaming the only thing is that your mind literally leaves your body and it wanders around wherever you want it to go. I choose to see what's outside the willow tree and around court yard. Nothing till now,just a thin layer of fog. Since there is nothing to see I bring my mind back to my body and just sit there with my eyes closed,enjoying the silence.
-"What are you doing here." says a deep voice that is clearly annoyed than I'm here. So not putting much enthusiasm to it I open my right eye. There between the curtain of leaves are a pair of shiny,emerald green eyes looking at me. The boy has jet black hair. I like his haircut,its long enough on the top to have a little fall on his forehead and on the sides of his head just long enough for it to touch the top part of his ears but it's also a little messy to look cool. A white v neck hugs his torso showing off his abs all to well,a pair of black skinny jeans,a leather jacket and some white converse. He's quite the looker,I bet if I could have feelings for people I would like him. But to bad for him I can't.
-"Same question goes to you buddy."
-"I am not your buddy" he spats
-"Calm down asshole, I'm just saying. Anyway to answer your question,cutting class."
-"Get out" he says it like its a command. I snort
-"And why would I do that?" I say as I start placing my arms behind my head.
-"This is my tree."
-"Says who?"
-"Me"
-"And why should I care,after all I was here first"
-"Listen bitch,I've been here for three years,you've been here for three hours,and in all those years I have always sat here,so I suggest for you to move." When he says this I can't help but snort again,which I think annoys him a little more.
-"And what exactly makes you think that you have a chance against me?"
His eyes start glowing,signaling me that he is trying to use magic on me. The keyword is trying because I am far to powerful for him to break my defense wall. So while he is trying to do God know what magical thing to me I just sit back smirking at his irritated face. Since I am getting bored I take control of his mind and start moving him towards a pond near the willow. When he is near the edge I get up and walk towards him. His eyes are full with fury,I chuckle at this. It's quite amusing.
-"I must give you credit. You have been the only boy to stand up to me today. At least I know you got some spine. But let's get this straight. If you wanna sit in the tree and I'm there. Just act like I am not there,it'll save you from trouble." With that,I made him jump in the pond and walked back to the tree,giving him his body control back.
-"You'll pay for this bitch!"
-"Sure,no problem. Just say how much cash you want and I'll give it to you." I wink,and go back inside the curtains of the willow tree.
