Chapter 13: You should have let me die

A/N:I'm so sorry guys,It's been two weeks since my last update! TWO WEEKS! I am so sorry but I had around three tests and a speech which I had to write and learn and a book I had to write with three other people and since it was for little kids we had to include drawings as well. And the thing is they were all for the 3rd and 4th of February! An applause for all my inconsiderate teachers! *claps* Plus I'm terribly sick. I have a horrible cough and back pain, plus I got a fever last night. Another round of applause for my immune system and it's horrible job at keeping me healthy *claps* Anyways I'm very sorry but...here you go!

Pain. That's the first thing I felt.

All my body ached in pain. My skin stung. I placed my hand on my head and groaned. My head hurt like a b*tch.

Wait a minute. I was alive?!

I shot my eyes open and immediately regretted it. The sun light hit my eyes and it burned.

I tried to open them again but this time slower. I was sitting on the forest ground with my back against a rock. I could hear the flow of the stream and the rustling of the leaves in the wind.

-"You're finally up" I snapped my head in the direction of the voice.

Green eyes. I groaned and rolled my eyes. Wasn't this beating to remind me that I was supposed to stay away from him? Yet here I am,with him again. Guess I never learn.

-"What are you doing here?" I was quite irritated. I smelled like I had gone to hell and back. I don't even want to see my hair or my ripped clothes.

-"Well,yesterday afternoon I was taking a peaceful stroll through the woods and I find myself with the body of a girl that looks like she just came back from hell" he pauses and looks me over with disgust "turns out that girl was you" he spat "Seeing it was you I was tempted to walk away and let you bleed to death,but I don't have the kind of evil in my heart to let even my worst enemy die like that. I mean if I hadn't seen you and I got the news a couple of days later that you were dead I would have danced on your grave" he chuckled at his own lame joke "but since I found you while you were still breathing" his eyes darkened again "I couldn't find it in me to let someone die like that. My conscious would have eaten me alive. So I just did a spell to stop you from bleeding and not heal you completely . That way if you did die because you got an infection from those wounds my guilt would go lighter on me" he concluded.

-"My hero" I said,my tone filled with sarcasm " Do you know where I can freshen up?" I asked him while I tried to get up. Key word:tried. I ended up tripping and falling on Nick's chest.

He being the delicate and loving person he is just roughly pushed me off of him and placed me on my two feet.

He dusted his jacket like some contagious disease had touched him "Yeah,I know where you can clean up,but don't expect me to give you clothes"

-"Don't expect me to take clothes you offer me"

- "Touché" he said and kept on walking.

We jumped the stream and walked towards the side of the woods that I have never been on. As we kept on walking our surroundings seemed more green,more alive. I have never seen so much color and life in this forest. I thought it was dead. Apparently,the side that I'm always at is dead.
