[Tom's POV]

It's been about a month of attending Echo Creek College with Marco and Star, and what could I say- going through life was pretty intense but fun with them.

I actually was getting to know Marco well, and he turned out to be way cooler than I imagined- I mean, when we first met four years ago, I just thought he was some brat who needed to get beat up and- I think you get it.

Plus, Star was cool too.. well, she was really, really outgoing more than usual with Marco than she ever was when we were dating. In fact, I think we've connected more now than we ever did when we dated. But I wasn't really bothered by it as much as I thought I would have.

I think I've changed somewhat.
And it almost scared me.

Almost.

The human world is more scary than the Underworld y'know?
I mean, the humans on the campus just freak me out sometimes!
Everywhere I go there's almost always that one couple in the corner who's basically eating each others faces off.
I didn't even know that was possible! And believe me- I see that in the Underworld, but its literally eating someones face off.
This is almost worse.

And yes, I knew of the "s" word, and sexualities and such, Lou has explained to me the concept before - it was pretty awkward- but I guess it just freaked me out seeing it live, alright?

Anyway, back to the story.

College is like hell.

"UGHHH... I don't get thiiiissss!" Star groaned, slamming her head on the table. "You're insane if you get this Mar,"

The brunette rolled his eyes,"C'mon! Get up, we have a test next week! We haven't even finished the second question,"

"I have to agree with the girl, Mar." I commented, leaning on my chair as I balanced a pencil on my nose.

Yeah.. We've grown accustomed on calling Marco "Mar." It's a long story..

"That's not fair! You're human Tim! I'm a princess," Star looked up. "This is like, ten times harder for me,"

"Not even!" I shook my head. "Everyone is equal- is that the line?" I turned to Marco, who only shrugged.

"You're not even trying!" Star kicked my chair, sending me crashing onto the floor.

"H-hey!" I growled as papers glided onto the ground beside me. "What the heck was that for??"

"That was for-"

Marco stood up abruptly, causing us to shut our mouths. He did not look happy. "I've had enough. You guys obviously don't give a damn- You're the ones who even asked me to tutor you-"

He growled, grabbing his books and began to head out the door.

"Marco? Marco, wait!!" Star and I chased after him, in which the blonde tackled him to the ground.

"I'm sorry, MarMar!!" Star whined.

With a shrug, I decided to join them by laying on Marco's legs while Star sat on his back. "Don't leave, we need you," I tried to stop my laugh.

"O-ow!! Get off! You're breaking every bone in my body! Star! Tim!!" Marco began to struggle beneath us.

"Oh no you don't!" I watched as Star tried to put more pressure on the brunette. "Not until you forgive us!"
