Tim and the Other Kid

[Tom's POV]

"Thanks for the ride Lou,"

After that day, our break ended, and everything went back to normal.
I was Tim once again.

"Do you want me to pick you up after school?"

"Nah..."

"Very well, see you."
With that, Lou drove off. It was the same with him as well. He acted as if that day never happened.
When we almost "fought".

"Hey- To- Tim!"

Not only that...
But now Star knew.

And it became extremely awkward.
For me, at least.

I turned to see the blonde at the bench spot we'd always wait at, but this time, Marco wasn't there.
"H-hey.... Where's Marco?"

"Geez, always Marco.."

"What?"

"I'm kidding. Anyway, he went off to show the new kid around." Star shrugged. "Your welcome, I bothered to wait for you."

Now she knows... She's so mean..

"Yeah.. Thanks I guess. But- What new kid?" I raised an eyebrow as we began to walk through the campus.

"Um.. His name is Oliver." She glanced around. "They shouldn't have gone far... Well, anyway, I don't really know much about him, all I know is that he lives around Pinecone Drive.. He's 18.. Has a twin sister and older brother.. and he's super nice."

"You don't know much about him?"

"Shut up." She sighed. "Anyway apparently Marco seemed to know him.. He said something about Christmas, and Town Square.."

No way.

"Ah... Is he.. a blonde?" I asked.

Star smirked. "Well.. yeah, he is. Another blonde to join the Echo Creek family.. How'd you know?"

"Terrible story.."

"Oh really??" She raised an eyebrow, her smirk getting wider and wider.
"Or are you just jealous?"

"Ugh, no- Of course n- Wait, what?"

"Oh, look! It's them!" She suddenly pointed passed me.

I turned around and sure enough, there Marco was, laughing his head off....

With that blonde's arm around him!

"Wow.. Looks like their having a great time- Wait! Tim? Tim!"

I was already heading over to them, and Star followed in a jog.
Putting my most fake grin on, I opened my mouth to shout.
"Hey!! MarMar!!"

Before the brunette could even look up, I brought him into my arms for a hug- Gladly stealing him away from this "Oliver's" arm.

"Oh- Haha, hey Tim."

"How's my favorite Marco doing, hm? Haven't seen you in forever!"
Glancing back to the other guy, he had a .. somewhat pleased face.

Not really what I was aiming for, but whatever.

"I'm the only Marco you know," The brunette laughed. "Wait- I am, right?"

"Yeah, of course!" I grinned turning around him so I was hugging him from behind.
Oliver was distracted with his phone..

"Ahem.." We heard a cough, causing us to look up.
Star crossed her arms. "Am I invisible or what?"

"Star!!" Marco exclaimed before stepping forward to hug her, bringing me along as well.
I hesitantly joined their hug and laughs, reminding myself that Star still knew I was Tom.
