[Star's POV]

"Alright..." I took a deep breath.

With all this sneaking around, we ended up at the college, using it to hide.

"Might as well check.." I sighed, turning around. "Okay, Mar-"

My blood went cold almost instantly.

Where...?

Marco and Marshmallow were no where to be found.
Only Three was there, wagging his tail happy.

"Ma..Marco..M..Marshmallow?"
I glanced around.

If this is a joke it isn't funny..!

I kneeled down to Three, petting his three heads.
"Where are they boy..? W-where..?" I winced.

Please... Wherever you guys are.. P-please be safe..!

Three suddenly began to growl, backing up a bit.

"T-three..? What's..."
I immediately felt chills run up my spine, causing me to stand and turn.

There stood a golden blonde girl a few feet in front of me.

I recognized her as the new student who got in my class weeks ago.
Oliver's twin sister, if I remembered correctly.

"O-olette, was it? Eheh.. W-what are you..." I closed my mouth when I saw the sick grin she had on her face.
I took a step back and cleared my voice. "Who are you?"

Something wasn't right about her.

She only giggled, and the giggle soon became a insane laugh. "Oh me, oh my~! Today's my lucky day huh~?"

I narrowed my eyes, slowly reaching for my wand in my bag.
Sure, it wouldn't do much, but at least it would do something.

"Oh~?" She raised an eyebrow. "Alright.." Her grin grew wider as she extended her arms out from her sides. "You want to play~? Let's play~!!"

I tightened my grip on my wand.
Right before my eyes, a black mist covered her body.
One large wing popped out, and soon the other followed.
The black mist cleared, and the girl I was looking at wasn't Olette any more.

She wore clothes that showed a lot of skin, and her hair was now a dark, pale purple.
She had tall horns on her head, and a long, sharp, black tail swaying in every direction.

In one hand, she had a long staff that ended in a sharp point. Her other hand was engulfed in pink fire.

"My name is Orianna~!" She laughed. "And today, I'll be your opponent, and I'll be sure I bring your lifeless body to Tom my dear cousin~!!"

I stood my ground, wand at my side. "We'll see about that!"

[Marco's POV]

It felt like forever till we got to the square.
It didn't even look like it anymore.

All shops weren't standing, they were in pieces on the ground.
The fountain wasn't even there anymore, instead was a large, blue, transparent box.

It looked similar to the one Toffee had trapped me in years ago. I still remembered it clearly.

Inside were bodies of all my friends, and residents of Echo Creek.

I let out a cry, but tears didn't fall.

"It's ok.. They're only unconscious." Oliver squeezed my hand to reassure me.
