"Please fasten your seat belts and get ready for lift off." The flight attendants voice rang throughout out the plane. I smiled a bit. Finally I would get out of cold Wyoming and go back home. Go back home to my family and friends.
O well first let me introduce myself. My name is Mika. I'm 16 going on 17. I live in Orlando during the summer but when fall comes I go back up to Wyoming for boarding school, I hate it but I know my parents are doing what they think is best for my education.
My mom is Anglo and my father is Hopi Indian. The name Mika means smart raccoon in Hopi Indian. Yeah I know what your thinking, her parents names her after a raccoon really? Its not really that bad. I like the name, I think its pretty. I usually just don't tell people what it means. I usually get a weird look and they walk off. I got my mom's dark blue eyes and and my dad's somewhat tinted skin. I had long dark black hair and you know what that means. My eyes don't match the rest of my body so when I meet someone that's the first thing they notice.
Finally I felt that plane jerk foward and begin down the run away, I smiled out the window as the snow capped mountains of Wyoming pass by. I put my Iphone on flight mode and plugged in my earphones slowing beginning to drift off to Lego House by Ed Sheeran
