Taking Care Of

All I remember driving home and the boys telling all of us bye and they had to go back to there house, it happened to be just a couple blocks down from all of ours, very convenient for all us girls. They had to leave as well but there houses were right next mine, so they would most likely be back in the morning

I fell right to sleep only remembering my mom taking me up the stairs to my room, and my dad dragging Sammy to his.

NEXT MORNING

I woke up, my face buried in my soft linen pillows. Still a bit sore I managed to make my way over to my bathroom. I looked in the mirror at the monster I was. Hair matted to the side of my face, my face was oily and looked very rough. Ok I thought I need a shower! 

After a while in the shower the warm water running over my body I begin to hear voices downstairs. 

I finished put on matching underwear and bra, a boyfriend shirt that was way big on me and biker shorts. I looked myself in the mirror and approved myself for being seen in public, to where people wouldn't run screaming the other direction and scream AHHH ZOMBIE, THE APOCALYPSE IS STARTING.

As I made my way downstairs it became evident to whom the voices belonged too.

"Ms Lane go to work Mike and Sammy will be fine. I and the girls will spend the night with her. And the boys will be her any second." Dakota said, putting way to much excitement in the last part. 

My father was an ER doctor and my mother was a surgeon at the hospital, its how they met. Forbidden work place love. They both usually work nights so during the summer, the girls and I usually stay at one another house. Yes we even drive Sammy along

"Kota are you sure? Goodness I need to bake you and the boys a cake or something for not only saving Mika and Sammy."

"O know Mrs.L you don't have too do that I think Mika has that taken care of especially with Riley!" I heard Brenna's Latin accent right through the downstairs.I heard all the girls including my mom burst out laughing and shouts of agreements that in fact I did.

"Brenna Anna Cortes, the next time we go to the beach and you fall asleep tannnig I'm going to throw a big pile of sea weed on you." I said startling, getting a yelp from Danielle.

"YOU WOULDN'T!"

"I see she has returned back to her normal self so I guess I'm off to work girls please keep the noise down I don't want the cops called again, and please behave! By my loves!" my mom hugged us all and gave us all kisses on the cheeks before leaving off to work.

"So what the agenda for today?" I asked as my stomach growled I reached for an orange.

"Well," begin Dakota," the boys are coming over, and if I may add this Friday little miss Dani over here has a date with Toby!"

"Awww! Dani I'm so happy for you!" I hugged her," When did he ask Red?" I said popping on orange slice into my mouth.

"He asked last night when we were all walking back to our houses he just came up behind me spun me around, and then like the klutz I' am I lost my balance, and he caught bringing up slowly and at the same time asking me out!" I again told Danielle how happy I was for her. Then Dakota begin to speak again.

"And anytime soon Riley should be asking you out little raccoon!" I choked on a orange slice.

Coughing I asked," And.. Ho-w do you know that?"

"Because the entire time you were in the hospital he didn't sleep but 30 mins and he cried a bit because he was afraid he had lost you..." said Brenna in a sweet voice.
