Nathaniel was lying next to Maya.He went into the house in secret.Maya's dad was sleeping.He went back home drunk.
"What are you thinking about?What concerns you?"Maya asked him and kissed his cheek.
Nathaniel took a deep breath.He seemed exchausted and...powerless.What was going on with him?
Nathaniel stood up and got close to the window.He was looking outside for no reason.Maya approached him and hugged him.
"Nathaniel,why don't you tell me?"Maya was caressing his back.She noticed he got a wound.
"What happened to you?Who did this?"Maya was concerned about him.
Instead of giving her an answer ,he was dressing up.
"Nathaniel!"Maya complained.
Nathaniel was still speechless.
Maya went to his arms.
"Nathaniel,I am here for you..."
She was caressing his cheek.Nathaniel felt so revieled with her touch.
All of a sudden,he heard a voice.
Nathaniel.Please,come...It is an emergency.
God was calling him.
"I gotta go..."
"Why?"
"I have to ...settle a matter..."
Settle a matter?What matter?
Nathaniel without saying goodbye left from the window and he was lost in the dark sky.

While Nathaniel was travelling with his large white wings,he was thinking about his romance with Maya and his duty to the God.
Was it worth to risk everything for a ...mortal?Was it worth to lie on his Creator in favour of love?
He was so confused.Was it a trick of the Satan?He didn't know.

Nathaniel finally arrived there.
"My Lord,you asked to see me..."Nathaniel said.
Nathaniel was trying not to seem scared or that he was hiding something.
"Yes,Nathaniel.I have learned that the Enemy of the Light was inside your head.What happened?What he was telling you?"
Nathaniel recalled only one of his words.
Suffer.
She will suffer.
Nathaniel was panicked.
"Nathaniel...My child..."
God's voice calmed him.
"I won't allow him to hurt any of my angels and my humans.You have been serving me for centuries,Nathaniel.I won't give up on you or any of the Archangels...You can go now.As it seems,you don't want to remember anything from that moment.Go now...Protect the Earth..."
"Yes,my Lord".
And Nathaniel had already left.
How arrogant he was!How selfish!His God always did everything in order to protect him and he...was compelled by love.That dangerous but also pleasant feeling.
He had to choose between God and ...love.
And he had.

Maya had gone with Shelby at a costume party.Maya was dressed like a corpse bride.With a long white dress and a wreath with flowers.
Maya had an awesome time.She met new friends.Everything was perfect with her life.
The party took place at a tent.
While Maya was on the dance floor partying hard,she watched Nathaniel's shadow.She went outside.
It was a cloudy afternoon near a lake.
She went outside.
Maya was looking forward to hug him,kiss him with passion,spent the night with him.
Maya was running straight to his arms.But,Nathaniel didn't do anything.He was so cold to her.
"What is happening?Why are you avoiding me lately?"Maya said angrily.
"It is over..."Nathaniel said.He was serious.Not at all sad or hurt.
"Why?Everything was perfect and you come and ruin everything!"Maya bursted into tears.
"We don't have any future!I can't stand to lie to my Lord and to the Order!I sacrifise everything cause of ..."Nathaniel hesitated.
"Me?"
"A mortal..."Nathaniel said but he regreted his words.
Maya couldn't hold her tears.
"But I love you.You are all I have..."Maya was begging him not to leave.
She went to kiss him.But,Nathaniel withdrew.
"Goodbye,Maya..."
Nathaniel put out his white wings and he flied away.
Maya was running,chasing him but it wouldn't matter.
"NATHANIEL!!!"she was yelling.
Nathaniel didn't hear her.
Meanwhile,Nathaniel's feathers from his wings were falling to the ground and some of them to Maya's arms.
Maya was trying to find him in the cloudy sun.
He had left...forever.
He was disappeared in the sky.
