"NAOIR!" Sita screamed.
He snapped out of it and looked at her, and from the look of pure terror on Sita's face,
He knew he was going to die.
No...!

It was like everything was in slow motion.
Sita watched as Naoir was flung to the other side of the room by the claw-like fingers of the gray.
The gray now unoccupied, saw Grason and Joey staring at Naoir's limp body on the floor.
It was like the gray smiled as it leaned over Grason and Joey. Black liquid dripped from it's fangs, as it hovered over the two, slowly opening it's mouth to consume them.
Sita stared at Naoir, He wasn't speaking in her mind so she knew he was gone.
Her eyes shot over to Joey and Grason,
Everything around her, from the books on the floor to Joey and Grason's screams, were all silent.
Sita's knees buckled and she fell down. The thud of her head hitting the floor echoed in her mind. Her vision faded, as her life flashed before her eyes. She saw the silhouette of the gray come towards her. Its teeth dripping with a liquid she couldn't discern the color of.
"Now, I know this is the last time I will speak but, do two things for me honey, okay?" Sita's mother sniffled as she said her last words. "Number one, be a good girl for your daddy." She glanced at her husband and smiled. "Number two, promise me not to take off your locket. Because that locket protects you from the boogie man. And you don't want him to come and take you away do you?"
"No Mommy..." Sita sniffled.
"But if by chance the locket comes off, Daddy will protect you. And so will your sister." The dying Mother glanced at Mai and Him. "I love you." She looked back at Sita. "I love you all." Her hand fell from Sita's cheek as she stared at her daughter's face.
"I promise."
And then she was gone.
Sita opened her eyes, and felt herself get lifted of the ground. Claws were digging into her sides, turning her grey robe crimson with the color of her blood. She looked behind the monstrosity and saw something she couldn't believe.
There was blood on the gray's arm... It had been stabbed with something that looked like a sword. Her eyes slowly moved to where Naoir was laying lifeless on the ground. He was gone. And in his place was shattered ice.
What? Ice? This makes no sense... Where did he-
Did you miss me?
Sita's eyes shot over the shoulder of the gray and saw Naoir standing with his hand on the grays head. She heard muffled voices and looked over to see Joey and Grason, and other than some scratches and bruises they were fine.
She tried to say "How are you all alive?!" but because of the shock of it all, she couldn't speak.
The gray reluctantly let go of her and set her on the ground, taking it's claws out of her. She could barely move at all.
How the heck are you all alive? What happened? Why did the thing that wanted to kill everyone let me go? WHAT IS GOING ON! Sita had more things she wanted to ask but Naoir interrupted her before she could pummel him with more questions.
Okay, chill out. I'll explain later. But first we need to leave before I lose control over this thing.
...FINE.
Suddenly Sita got lifted off of the ground by something very cold. Ice?
"Sorry about the sudden 'We're alive!' But..." Joey fidgets nervously as he glances towards the gray. "We'll explain later... Okay?" Sita nods. So many things have happened in such little time... And I have yet to know what's actually going on here.
She feels her consciousness slowly slipping away into darkness as she lingers on that one thought.
