CHAPTER TWO
Sita wanted to run outside to see her sister but knew that she shouldn't because she would end up falling into space, Instead Sita just waved ecstatically.
Luckily her sister saw Sita, and waved back at her.
Sita was overjoyed. Her sister was finally back from her mission! She couldn't wait to ask about the adventures she had back in Trama district.
“We need to rest up before going back.” Mai announced. “So we won't be here long, visit your families while you still can because this might be the last time you see them, we will meet back at this same spot when the next gravity change happens.”
She didn't look too happy saying that to the officers because after all, it was probably the only time they were going to see their families, ever.
“My my.” Ms. Braden looked dejected.
“What is it Ms. Braden?” Sita saw that down she looked and was concerned.
“Oh it's just that dear Mai has changed so much the last time she was here...” Her voice drifted off. “The last time I saw her she was so happy and had a bright look in her eyes, but now, she has an empty one. I wonder what happened while she was on that mission...”
Sita noticed that too. Mai didn't have the usual spark she used to have when her and Sita talked about joining the force.
“Whats going on?” Sita asked as the officers all gathered in one place.
“I have no clue...” Ms. Braden looked confused by what they're doing.
Whatever that was.
The people just talked for all of the time they were there.
Mai came back from the direction of... They're House?
“I have important news to relay.” She said with a face void of emotion. “The captain has issued us back at once, we are needed in sector five immediately.”
The squad murmured to themselves, and Sita tried to listen to what they were saying.
“Sector five? Isn't that where all the gray are?”
“They say that sector is a nest of eggs, and the parents are very protective.”
“Why do we have to go to sector five? We're only security guards sent to retain order in Mag.”
“But we just got here?”
“Do you doubt the captain's decision?” Mai said with a stern tone.
In unison, the group turned around and said “No Ma'am!"
“Good.” Mai looked around at them. “Now go back to the ship.”
“Yes Ma'am!” Then they saluted
“What do you think is going on Ms. Braden?” Sita asked after everyone left.
“I have no idea...”
“They look more like soldiers than policemen...”
“You do have a point there, dear.” Ms. Braden stared outside the window as all of them got they're gear back on. “Something is going on and I don't like the looks of it...”
“Neither do I...”
Something is wrong, and I'm going to find out what!
“Well, then!” Ms. Braden said. “Let's stop spying. I am going to check on the cookies I'm making in the back.” She smiled. “I'll let you have one while they're hot.”
Sita chuckled. The policemen are more like soldiers, and Mai is like the commander of it all... commander... wait, no way! What if they aren't policemen? What if they ARE soldiers? I have to find this out for myself...
