CHAPTER SIX

        Huh, am I dreaming? It feels like I'm floating...

        Sita slightly opened her eyes, she was in a white room. She was floating in the air as a nurse in white apparel inspected her. WHAT...

        "Hmm, it seems like she is perfectly healthy." She heard the nurse say. "And after the reaction was delayed for that long? I am surprised she didn't vomit before she passed out." Reaction? Are they talking about when I blacked out? Where am I?

        "Oh, thats good." A new voice entered the conversation. "I'm glad she's okay. But, will she be able to enroll in the academy, or is it too risky?" The person asked. Who is that...?

        "Maybe a few days here would help the aftermath of the dizziness. And you said that she was glowing?" Glowing?

        "Yes, she had this blue illumination around her that even I can't figure out. Is she part jellyfish or something?" Jellyfish? What is going on?

        "No, I don't think she is part jellyfish Conai." The nurse said with a chuckle. Oh, so that's Conai. "But when we analyzed her blood sample," She said looking at what Sita thought was a check board. "We found out that she was part Nayam." Blood sample? Nayam? What?

        "Nayam?" Conai exclaimed. "But I thought they were extinct!"

        "We thought they were too, until we saw this." The woman said as she handed the check board to Conai. "It's a picture of what her blood cells look like."

        Sita heard a gasp escape Conai. "No way. She's a..." A what?

     "Yes." She heard the nurse say. "She's a hybrid." Hybrid?! "And apparently, her father disappeared a few years back." How would a nurse know that? Or is she only a nurse...?

        "So you think he is..." Conai trailed off.

        "Yes, I think he is the Nayam. Or else he probably wouldn't have left his two kids to fend for themselves." What is she talking about... "I don't doubt that he loved them." What is she saying... "But when we found out that he left, I had the suspicion that he was running from someone and he didn't want to endanger his children." Running from someone... What does she mean by that?

        Conai looked over at where Sita was floating, and he sees her eyes slightly opened. "Oh, your awake Sita?" Conai said. "I didn't notice."

        I find out that I'm a 'hybrid' And my father was a Nayam. And he is running from someone... But who? Is he still alive after all these years? All of those thoughts raced through her mind, and she just couldn't come up with a story to tell them.

        "I heard everything." Sita opened her eyes fully and saw Conai look at the nurse, confused. Wait... Wait a minute. The nurse shrugged and started walking towards Sita. Hold up... this feels familiar.

        The nurse started reaching up to do who knows what, and as she did, Sita's eyes widened as something flashed across her eyes. What was that?

        Sita looked at the nurse. The nurse suddenly looked very frightened. She also looked at Conai who just watched from the sidelines. Why is she scared? Did I do something?

        She heard the wind shift. Sita looked over to see what was doing that, but she just saw a fist, And it collided with her face.
