CHAPTER THREE
As the gravity returned to normal, Sita told Ms. Braden that she had to go back to her house.
I wonder what Mai was doing over there...
"Alright but be careful Sita."
She rarely heard Ms. Braden call her by name, so she knew Ms. Braden was serious... "I will."
As she walked to her house, she saw some dark shadows moving in the alleyway's next to her as she navigated the sidewalk.
What?
She started walking as fast as she could. It's probably nothing... But I can't be too sure.
Her long brown hair fell out of her ponytail, she looked back at the left behind rubber band.
Oh Forget It! The world won't end if I leave behind a rubber band.
She ran up her steps, opened her door and shut it just as quickly as when she opened it, because behind that door were three figures just waiting at the other side of the door for her.
Crap.
The three broke down her door, and unfortunately, she was on the other side.
As the door swung open at incredible speed, Sita hung onto the door for dear life. The people ran outside, and stopped as Sita stared in disbelief.
They were boys.
WHAT THE-
But before she could finish her thought, the three guys turned around and ran at her.
She didn't know what else to do...
What would Mai do?
I'M NOT MAI!
Sita let go of the door and fell into the shrubs in front of they're house just as one of them lunged at her, he fell against the door frame. She struggled out the bushes just barely missing an attempt to grab her by one of the others.
In all my life, I never once figured I would be this popular with boys...
Thankfully she was right next to the sidewalk, so she jumped the short fence encompassing her property, and started to run full tilt.
They were catching up with her, she didn't know how to outrun them.
Sita slowed down. It's hopeless, I can't outrun them if I tried.
They did as well.
She stopped.
They did too.
"What do you want from me?" Sita asked as she turned around. There was no one out of they're homes at the moment so Sita, and the three boys in front of her were the only ones outside.
"We need you to come with us." The boy with brown hair said. I need to remember they're faces if they kidnap me so I can report them to the police.
"Why?" She said suspicious. Well... They don't look like bad people...
"We can't tell you." Said the other boy with blond hair. Though I shouldn't judge by appearances.
"Why can you not tell me?" Sita asked. I am the one being taken to this place after all... Or are they actually kidnapping me? Well, that is probably a given, seeing as they want to take me somewhere but won't tell me where it is.
"Because..." The other boy paused, then looked over to the others confused. "Why can't we tell her?"
"Because He said not to that's why." Said blond boy.
"Who's 'He'?" Sita asked curiously but cautiously.
"Someone we won't tell you about." The blond one said with defiant look.
"Don't mind him, he's just rude sometimes." The brown haired boy said. Thats true.
"I'm not rude! I am merely being secretive... AS WE ARE SUPPOSED TO."
"Okay, jeez." Maybe... I can sneak away?
"Don't think about it Ms. Seta." blond boy said.
"It's Sita..." Sita said with a frown.
"Yeah, whatever." Wait. Did he just- No he couldn't have.
"Yes I did. Get used to it."
Sita stood there, mouth agape. I can't believe- oh my gosh, that's- But then she remembered he could read minds, and she didn't want to feed his ego.
"Naoir... Be nice." The boy with brown hair said, crossing his arms.
"Wait, did you seriously just...?" Come to think of it, how did he know my name?
"We should at least tell her our names..." The other boy said.
"Shut up Redhead." There is no doubt... This is the rudest person I have ever met.
"Hey! Thats not nice." The brown haired boy said with a scowl. "It's a good idea, she might trust us more if we do."
"Fine, but she already knows my name thanks to you..." Naoir said, glaring at him. "We should be quick about it if it's gonna happen though."
"Okay!" Said the brown haired boy. "My name is Joey, nice to meet you." He held out his hand for Sita to shake.
She shook it. His hand was ice cold.
"Your hand is really cold. Is that normal for you...?" Sita asked, curiously.
"Oh yeah, for me at least." Joey said with a chuckle. "Now," He pointed to Naoir. "As you already know, the rude one is Naoir." Naoir glared at Joey. "And him?" He gestured to the red headed boy. "Thats Grason."
"Hi..." Grason said shyly.
"Hello." Sita said. "But I have a question," She crossed her arms. "Where do you plan on taking me?"
Naoir chuckled.
"Your going to have to find that out yourself." Joey said with a grin. "Grason, if you please?"
Grason nodded, and put his hand out to the brick wall of the building they were in front of.
A hole just big enough to fit a person popped up almost instantly.
"W-W-What?" Sita exclaimed. WHAT ON–
"See you there." Naoir laughed as he jumped inside the opening, Grason soon followed.
Sita gasped. "I'm not going in there if that's what you expect me to do." Sita backed away from the portal thing.
"Hey, it's just a portal. It doesn't kill you." Joey chuckled as he held out his hand. "Here, you can go at the same time as me."
Sita stared at his hand. "I just met you, do you expect me to follow you into a 'Portal' that might kill me? Or worse?"
"What is worse than dying?" Joey asked. Sita was about to answer when he said, "No. Wait. I can think of a few things that might be worse than dying. Listening to a Gorbel sing, now thats pretty horrible." He laughed.
"Gorbel? What's a–" Sita was cut off because Joey grabbed her arm and ran headlong into the portal.
