Chapter five
Kenzie's POV
The boys watch me intently as I take a bite of the pizza. I chew it and my eyes light up.
This taste is so good i can't even explain.
"O my god what have I been missing my whole life!!!" I smile wide.
They smile really big.
"Guys....I have to ask you something.." I say seriously now.
"Anything!" Dan says.
"Why did you say yes to keeping me..you didn't have to. I mean before you protest..just ket me speak. We all know I should die soon...I was supposed tp die three years ago...so my time is coming any time now...so why'd you do it." I ask directly to Dan.
"Well...you were in a horrible situation...and I'm the last family member you have...only a cold-hearted person would say no...and life is too short to be specific...live it to the fullest!" He smiles.
I smile too and give him a great big hug.
"Thank you....I've gotten so used to being ignored and disregarded...this is a nice change." I say.
"You deserve it macaroon!" He smiles.
"OK...doctor Who time?" I hint.
''DUH!" He yells running to the T.V
I follow his foot steps and lay on the couch. Phil sits at the other end. Yeah I'm so short that I leave enough room for him to sit down! Dan comes over and picks my feet up, sits down, then places them on his lap. I smile and watch the show. This is the one with the creepy butt, weeping angels.
My eyes go sleepy and I close my eyelids.
"You asleep?" Phil asks'.
"No really?" I sarcastically chuckle.
"Here, we will go to bed and let you sleep." Dan suggests'.
"No! please stay out here with me...at least one of you..ever since the accident I haven't got much sleep...I feel safer with someone with me." I say my eyes opening.
"Oh alright..." Dan shrugs, sitting back down.
I smile, and Suka climbs onto my stomach.
I giggle, and turn to the side, him sliding down and curls his head into my tummy.
Dan comes over and wraps his arm around my frail body, and rests' his chin on my shoulder.
"Night Macaroon." He says tiredly.
"Goodnight." I say, and I close my eyes slipping into a deep sleep.

"Wake up wake up wake up!" Dan screams into my ear.
I jolt forward bonking heads with Dan in front of me.
"Ow" I moan.
"Sorry!! Get up and dressed you are meeting some people today!" He smiles.
"Who?" I ask groggily.
"some of my friends." He says.
I shrug and get up, walking to my suitcase.
Then that's when I realize it. I don't have any clothes.
"Well....um....see...the thing is...I don't have clothes...I only have the hospital gown and my pajamas." I say motioning to what I'm wearing.
"Well then lets go shopping!" Dan smiles.
"Yeah! Why not! We are meeting them for lunch anyway!'' he shrugs.
