Chapter 2 A Bridge of a force encounter

Once she got up, she noticed Rain in the kitchen. Rain was dressed for school and was currently making breakfast. Rain knew that Rayleta and Sand slept in her room together. She came home to check on Rayleta and found them. She looked up as Rayleta waked into the kitchen with the watch.

Rain smiled and said," Well well well, you finally got with him didn't you. I knew you two had a love connection , I come home to see you two on your bed passed out, then saw Sand getting up and leaving."

Rayleta looked up at her flushed and replied," I hadn't the slightest remembrance of what happened last night, in all honesty. Last thing I honestly remember was I was waking up and he was leaving."

" Sis, it's obvious you like him, Sand Davidson is basically the hottest guy around , all the ladies fallen for him , but the only one I see him looking at is you. You should go for him you're 20 years old." said Rain in a teasing tone while she handed Rayleta her cup of coffee.

Rayleta sighed , took her coffee and sat on the balcony. As she sat down, she noticed Sand was outside stretching. He didn't even have a shirt on. Her face tried to avoid from looking as she pulled out her sketch book. Sand of course noticed her trying to avoid his gaze and smile.

" You left your watch on my nightstand, mind telling me what you were doing in my room last night" She said not looking up.

Sand simply said," I found you passed out somewhere I had to take my watch off cause it was caught , I must of set it down after that and forgot it."

She then locked eye contact with him and his face turned bright red. Rayleta then stood up and leaned on the concrete railing, handing him the watch. She then winked at him in a flirtatious way and went inside. She said goodbye to Rain as Rain was leaving for school. Then went to take take a shower. Her mind was so confused. With everything going on , hopefully the shower would help her calm down at least a little.

Once she was done taking a shower, Rayleta locked up the apartment and started another day. Her footsteps were light but a decent pace as she went to the apartment mailbox.Sand happened to be checking his mailbox as well. So she brushed past , which caught him to smile as he watched her grab her mail and head to the truck; from over his shoulders.

As she walked out of the apartment , The paint owners were placing new displays of supplies in the window. Her eyes came across them , but didn't last long. She picked up her usual paint and placed it in the back of the truck. Rayleta currently worked at the Barb'n cafe , they were quite the popular joint. But she was to paint murals on the wall. As she hopped into the truck, the music was turned down low , she turned it up. The truck pulled up to Barb'n. Abica the waitress and best friend of Rayleta stood there ;handed her a croissant and her usual coffee.

Abica smiled and asked," How are you feeling with everything going on?"

" I am sure my brother told you, I will be alright just have to keep busy in order to prevent things from happening again." replied Rayleta as she tied her apron on.

Abica was Rayletas best friend from school. So they were pretty close friends as well. " Something else bothering you? She asked once again.

" I woke up this morning and Lux's buddy Sand was leaving my room. I gave him back his watch and he accidentally touched my hand. I suddenly felt my heart racing." Replied Rayleta.

Abica giggled and continued." Looks like someone is .... in ... Love..."

Rayleta said," After the rooftop incident and being involved with that nightmare, it's like we are somehow connected. I haven't told Lux or Rain about that at all."
