Michaels PoV
When Michael returned to the office, having had a meal at EL Paso, Kyle was already at his desk taking out his ledgers, as if he couldn't wait to get down to work.

Michael stood in front of Kyle's desk.

'Come home to your own bed tonight,' he ordered. 'I'm don't want a slag for a son, I'm not putting up with it.'

Kyle ignored him and began to write. For Michael nothing could have been more annoying. Kyle's recent behaviour had really infuriated him. He couldn't hold back any longer.

'You made me look like a complete idiot in front of the everyone yesterday. You did the complete opposite of what I told you to do.' That had really pissed him off.

'I took Mrs Fray to the hospital.' The defiance in Kyle's blue eyes looked out of place on his baby face.

'Yes, but against my direct orders, I've had enough Kyle, I cannot take your behaviour anymore.' Michael spoke through gritted teeth trying to keep his voice down.

'She needed help father.'

'But not yours, I called a taxi.'

'She was ill, father.' He whispered.

'Yeah, might be cancer, your little friend told me, not that it's got anything to do with us, she's not your family, she's just another tramp, but you seemed to think that she was important enough to waste an entire morning on.' Michaels voice began to raise. 'I'm guessing you stayed with your slut till she found out what the problem was?'

Michael saw Kyle's hands ball into fists and his jaw visibly clench. 'You do realise that what happened was an accident in the workplace. She could claim compensation.'

'What the actual fuck Kyle, are you actually taking the piss right now!? You've got to be joking. That women is ill, "that" is what cause the accident. She should have stayed home, and saved us all a load of trouble!' Michael began too shout.

'They're worried father, what with the war on and now that the NHS is gone, they don't think they'll be able to able to afford the hospital bill, they've both worked here for years, and-'

Michael cut him of, almost screaming in frustration ' how many times Kyle, they!-' Michael gestured towards the door furiously 'are not our problem, do you understand!?'. She's got cancer, so she's not strong enough to work here anymore anyway, she proved that yesterday, I will not have her back when- if she gets better.'

Kyle's face flushed, now Michael knew he'd really pisses him off. 'Don't you understand what this job means to-'

'If she'd been anyone else you wouldn't care. I can't believe your- involved with a girl like her, she's a fucking tramp Kyle, have you not seen when she lives? it's a complete dump, and what sort of self respecting girl works anyway? She's not even pretty, I don't get what it is you see on her, and do you know what, I don't care, your going to finish with her, and not let this thing you have go any further, do you understand me Kyle, I will not be looked down upon because you can't date a high class girl.'

'I love her, father. I can't just finish with her. I think any decent guy would pay for sick-'

'This restaurant has to earn money,' he interrupted.

'We're not a charity and we don't provide for the poor, if your unable to work you can take it up with someone else.'
