I met Chris at his locker for lunch. Our usual meeting spot for lunch. Lunch is my least favorite part of the day. Because anything can happen. And by anything, I mean ANYTHING! Teachers don't care what you do. Their busy talking about their failed love lives while scarfing down ice cream tub by tub. It's always Debby that's the main reason for the lunch drama. I've seen a few slaps go by from her. Most of them twards her "boyfriends". She never can handle a real relationship. She's such a whore. She has like, 5 boyfriends a week. For short, her life is like a teen mom episode. Oh poor little me, he messed up my life, yadda yadda yadda. No one cares for her sob story. And by no one, I mean me and Chris. Because she's got the whole school wrapped around her finger.
"Hey, can I have my History notes back?" Said Chris, holding out his hand. "Yeah, I guess. I didn't get a lot of studying done anyway. Alexa asked if i was pregnant. Know anything about that? She said Debby told a bunch of people we had sex and now I'm expecting." I said, furiously opening my brown bag. "I haven't heard that. Well, not exactly that anyway." He said, looking the other way, like he was trying to hide something. "What did you hear?" I was angry at the fact that he never said anything to me. "Well, I heard two things. You got raped by a guy in an alley, and your next door neighbor and you had a little fling going on." "Wow. Well none of that is true. And I'm putting an end to that right now." I stood up and got on top of our lunch table. "Attention everyone!" I yelled and banged around a few glasses for noise effect. "Any rumors about me being pregnant, raped, or having a "fling" with my next door neighbor, are all lies, curtisey of Debby Drews! That's all." I sat down and acted like nothing happened.
"Hey Chris! Wanna come over after school and hang out?" I asked chris as soon as school got out. "I don't know if I can right away. My sister has an athletic club meeting and I have to pick her up around 7. How about 7:30?" I smiled. At least he had the will to come. Even if it was later. "Sure, I'll be waiting! Text me when you're about to leave." I said, and left to go home.
