"Miss Maddie, take a seat in the confrence room." I followed Mrs. Contrell to the confrence room. When I walked in, there was Chris' parents sitting there, along with a couple police men. Now I was scared. Chris' mom was crying while his father was supporting his wife. I sat down slowly. "What's going on?" I said in a serious, yet curious tone. "Your friends with Chris, right?" Said the police officer. "Of course, hes my best friend. Why? What happened to him?!" I was getting really scared now. The officer sighed while Chris' mother kept on sobbing. "Chris told his mother yesterday that he was going to drive to your house to do some extra studying, and that he would be back around 8:30. Well, little did his mother know that there were bad storms on the way. We got a call from his mother around 10:00, wondering were his child was. We went out, and we saw a two car accident." I froze. No, that can't be what happened. Why Chris isn't at school today. "We stopped for the accident. We called for backup and the fire department to come. When they came, the pulled a body out of one of the cars. It was mangled, and it was Chris." He said. I was in total shock. No, I must be dreaming. "NO! NO NO NO NO NO! IT'S NOT CHRIS I KNOW IT'S NOT! YOUR LYING TO ME! LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE!" I was screaming and yelling and throwing things. I was pissed. I told him not to come and he didn't listen to me. At all. His mother was crying the hardest i've ever heard someone cry. The police were holding me down, then everything went black.

I woke up in my bed. Confused. Hah, I knew it was a dream. When I rolled over, I saw many cards. I picked them up. Most of them said "Sorry for your loss." "No." I thought to myself. "They knocked me out! This is real." I said and ripped the card and sobbed into my pillow for about 3 hours. I got up and went to the bathroom and threw up. I was so worked up over this. I had a right to be. I thought about school. Who's going to lend me their books when I need them? Who's going to sit next to me at lunch? I went for a drive to calm myself down, when i saw a red car. Totalled you could say. It was Chris' car. I got out and sat by the car, and bawled.
