It was now 7:15. And it was dark outside. To dark for this time of day. That made me get a little nervous. Because I didn't want Chris driving in this. So I turned on the radio to hear what was coming. I knew Tv would be faster, but I cant stand to listen to Brent anymore. I turned on 100.4 to hear "The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for, Ozaukee county, until 9'oclock PM." At that point, I started going into panic mode. I called Chris right away. "Chris!" I yelled into the phone "What?! Thank you for blowing my eardrums out!" He said. He sounded angry, but I ignoored it. "It's a tornado warning! Don't come over! We can reschedual! But I'm begging you! Don't come yet!" I yelled. "Don't worry about it Maddie, I'll be fine." And he hung up.
I sat there in the basememnt. Chewing my finger nails. "Don't worry, he's not coming. He loves to mess with me." I said to reassure myself. "Chris isn't that stupid to do this." I read a book to help calm my nerves. I looked at the clock. It was now 8:00. "He's not coming." I said, with a sigh of relief. And after that sigh, I fell asleep.
