"There's something I want to show you"

I stood, following him suspiciously upstairs to the hall with all the doors. We walked down and entered the room three doors down from mine that I assumed was his.

It was much bigger than mine, a king sized bed covered in blue covers against the back wall. A larger mirror that was actually screwed into the wall hung above a dresser which was next to a door i assume led to a closet.

"Sit down" he said, motioning to the corner where there were two chairs and a guitar leaning against the wall.

As I sat, Brendon sat across from me and pulled out a piece of paper, leaning back in his seat. I raised an eyebrow.

"What's this?" I asked.

"These are the lyrics to a new song I've been working on. It's always good to get an outside opinion, I thought you could read through the chorus and let me know what you think?" He offered me the paper and I carefully took it.

My eyes brushed over the title of the song. "Emperors new clothes?" I read.

"Yeah, what do you think?"

"I like it, maybe instead of this though you could say 'i'm all dressed up and naked'. It fits with the title." I offered, handing him back the sheet of paper. He nodded, grabbing a pen from the desk and scribbling over the already written words.

"That's perfect!" He beamed.

I gazed at him in confusion. Why was he being so nice to me? It had to be some sort of joke.

His eyes lit up as new ideas came to mind and he franticly scribbled them on the paper. The enthusiasm he showed reminded her of her best friend Damon.

Tears suddenly swelled in my eyes as I realized how much I missed my friends and family. Their faces were becoming blurry in my memory after the long time apart.

"Are you okay?" Brendon asked as he realized I was crying.

My body shook with my sobs and I agressivly wiped away my tears. "What do you care?" I spat.

He looked almost hurt by my words but it must have just been my imagination - there was no way my kidnapper would care how I feel. Soon after his expression hardened and he stood quickly, knocking his chair back and startling me.

"I dont"

Dread pooled in my stomach as I realized I'd probably just blown it with the one person who had been nice to me this entire time.

"Get out!" he shouted, jabbing his finger at the door. I scurried out of the room, racing down the stairs and to all of the exits I could find. Every one was locked. Next I looked for any phones but there were none to be found. After searching for about a half hour I decided it was pointless.

Collapsing onto the couch, I let out a sigh and grabbed the TV remote from the coffee table. I had to accept that I wasn't getting out of here.

Turning on the TV, I flipped through the stations until I caught a glimpse of a Winchester and squealed when I realized it was my favorite episode of Supernatural. During the comercial I walked into the kitchen and made myself a bag of popcorn, then I settled back into the couch to watch my show.

I hadn't seen Brendon for a while but I wasn't complaining. The less I saw of those people the better

As if on cue, the front door swung open and Fall Out Boy and MCR walked.

That's not a scentance I ever thought I'd say.
