We were in a diner, getting some lunch. I was eating quietly, Sam was on the phone and on his laptop while Dean was at the jukebox, trying to find a song.

"No, no, no, you're right, it's definitely weird...okay, Bobby, thanks" He hung up.

"When do I get to meet this infamous Bobby?" I asked.

But, Sam didn't answer right away, instead he looked up at Dean for an answer while he sat down beside me.

"Uhh soon" he nodded.

"So, in other words, you don't plan on telling him about me until absolutely necessary"

"In other words...yeah, pretty much"

"Its just that we're not so sure how he'll take the news..." Sam explained.

"You don't have to explain it to me, it's understandable. I was just curious as to when I'd meet him. You guys talk about him so much, I just want to see who it is that my father and my uncle praise so much" I said and discreetly analyzed Deans reaction when I said 'father'.

He didn't show any sign of cringing or discomfort. His lips twitched upward so it looked like he wanted to smile but didn't know how.

"Alright" I sighed. "What'd he say anyway?" I asked Sam.

"He found something in Wyoming"

"A job?" Dean questioned.

"Maybe. Small town, no one's died in the past week and a half.

"And that's really unusual?" I asked.

"Well, it's how they're not dying. One guy with terminal cancer strolls right out of hospice. Another guy gets capped by a mugger and walks away without a scratch"

"Capped in the ass?" Dean asked and I heard some sarcasm behind his tone.

"Police say Mr. Jenkins was shot in the heart at point-blank range by a nine-millimeter" he explained as I took a bite of my burger.

"And he's not a doughnut?" I asked, with my mouth full.

"Locals are saying it's a miracle. It's got to be something nasty, right? I mean, people making deals or something" I saw Dean was considering it as he took a bite of his burger.

"You think?"

"What else would it be?"

"I don't know" he replied still with a mouth full but he made it more noticeable.

Sam looked in between the two of us and made a face. "What?" we both snapped, still with our mouths full.

He just shook his head at us. "Nothing. Come on, get it to go" he instructed and stood to his feet once he shut his laptop.

I was about to stand up too and put my food in a little box thing but I saw Dean wasn't moving and he was contemplating something.

"Come on" Sam said, slinging his computer case over his shoulder. Dean continued to just chew. "What?" Sam asked, annoyed and confused.

"Sure you want me going with you?" he finally looked up to glare at his brother.

"Why wouldn't I?"

"I don't want to be holding you back or nothing"

"Dude, I've told you a hundred times, that was the siren talking, not me. That happened a while ago..."

"Not that long ago"

"Well, why bring it up now? You've been fine the past couple cases"

"Yeah, because Kayla's been running the missions. She hasn't told me that I slow her down yet"
