"I'm assuming your leaving tonight" my friend Laine said to me as we drove back to my Dads apartment. Graduation was a week ago and I said a week after graduation I was heading back home.

"Hey there is no place like home right" I said and she rolled her eyes. Something I rubbed off on her.

"Your so mean leaving me all alone" she pouted and I laughed. She was possibly the only girlfriend I have ever had and it was fun.

"I will miss you but I have something better at home waiting for me" I said and she smiled knowing exactly what I meant. We pulled up to the apartment and she got out the car with me.

"Stay safe and make sure you write to me" she said hugging me and I nodded.

"I'm gonna miss you more then I should" she said and I laughed.

"Same honey" I replied and she smiled.

"You know where to find me if you need anything" she said getting in her car and I nodded and waved as she drove off.

I went upstairs showering. I learned how to dry my hair with a blow dryer just because it got so much longer and even more thick I needed to blow dry it. Once I was done I put on some jeans and a blue tank top with my jersey on that had 'Adams' printed on the back and number 80 on the sleeves. I was happy my jersey still fit and I wanted it to be the first thing I wore back home.

I stepped off the plane and immediately ran out the doors to get a smell of the valley again. My mom pulled up and I smiled grabbing my bags and throwing them in the car. The rest of my stuff would be shipped home.

"Can you drive me to the sandlot" I immediately spat out and she rolled her eyes and nodded. Now I know where I get it from. Once my mom pulled up near the same green fence and I heard the boys voices I smiled. I hopped out and walked into the field I grew up playing on. They boys all stopped and stared.

"Bobby is that you?" Ham called out and I smiled.

"Who else would it be" I said and they all smiled running towards me.

"Bobby!" They exclaimed all hugging me. I looked to the boy who seemed to get taller standing off to the side before running and jumping in his arms.

"Boy did I miss you" I said before pressing my lips against him.

I guess I had one more Obsession other then baseball.
