"Dad?" I asked. He nodded and walked towards me with open arms but I hopped up and backed away. He just frowned.
"What are you doing here?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows.
"I came here to see you I missed you and your mom" he said. I rolled my eyes.
"If you missed us you would of stayed" I spat and he sighed.
"Look at you so grown up and beautiful" he smiled and I mentally groaned.
"How did you know I was here?" I asked.
"I was on the way to the house when I saw you run by and I turned and followed you" he spoke slowly and I stood up straight. This man ruined me. Literally. I was going to be strong though I could stand up to him now.
"Well you shouldn't have, just go back to where you came from we don't need you here" I said and started walking past him but he grabbed my arm.
"Don't speak to you father like that" he scolded and I ripped myself from his grip.
"Your not my father your the dead beat who left me and mom alone for the past 14 years" I screeched before running off again. I ran back home in hopes of him not coming but I knew that wouldn't happen when you needed him he wouldn't be there but when you didn't he would be.
I watched at the window and saw him pull up and grab a bouquet of flowers before getting out. He walked up to the door and knocked before placing his hand back in his pocket.
"Bobby get that?" My mom screamed and I stayed where I was. After a little bit he knocked again.
"What the hell Bobby" she yelled walking in. I shook my head fast as she reached for the door and opened.
"Hello Jane" he said and she stood there shocked. He put the flowers out to her and she grabbed them before slapping him in the head with them.
"What the hell are you doing here?" She growled as she kept hitting and he kept his arms up in defense.
"If you stop hitting me and let me come in I can explain" he spoke and she stopped and opened the door wider before stepping out of the way. He walked to the living room and was about to sit in the chair he used to sit in when my mom spoke up.
"Don't sit there" she said and he sighed sitting on the couch.
"Now tell me why are you here" she asked trying to keep calm.
"I realized it was wrong for me to leave you behind and I needed to be there for my daughter and I wanted to make it up to her- and to you for leaving you guys" he said and my mom shook her head.
"I'm sorry John but your to late, 14 years to late just go back home" she said and he shook his head and chuckled a bit.
"Not until I offer our daughter something" he said and I stared at him waiting to say whatever.
"Spend the rest of this year and next year with me in France"
