\\Benny's P.O.V.//
I sat at my window. Not the window that looks into Bobby's but the window that looks into Jessi's from here I could just remember the time she would forget to shut her curtains and she would be dancing or changing or just being her. Now the room seemed so dull. There was nothing to it at all she just needed to be there.

Tonight we didn't go to the Sandlot just because Squints had to go to the doctor and Kenny had his moms family coming over for dinner plus Timmy and Tommy got grounded because the both accidentally said a swear word in front of there mom so there was no point in playing without everyone there.

I asked if Bobby could come over and help with my algebra because I didn't understand what I was doing but in class for the first time in math ever she knew what she was doing. My mom also has been dropping subtle hints to ask her out but I don't know I mean yeah I did kinda feel that way towards her but I mean who didn't she was a kind and beautiful girl that played baseball.! I can't exaggerate that anymore in any shape or form.

"Mom?" I called out walking in the kitchen. She was working at the counter cooking.

"Yes honey?" She said and I sat down at one of the stools by the island.

"Bobby is coming over to do homework is it okay if she stays for dinner?" I asked and my mom nodded.

"Bobby is welcome any day anytime of course" she smiled and I nodded.

"Benny I know what I'm talking about you have to eliminate y to get x then you plug the x in and solve for y" she screeched at me and I laughed at her exasperated face.

"Bobby I thought you had to-"

"No Benny just do it and see which way actually works" she said cutting me off and crossing her arms. She looked so hot when she was mad and I couldn't help but keep it going.

"No because I know my way is right" I stated to get her more worked up. She groaned and punched my arm.

"Pass" she said pointing to her.

"Or fail" she said pointing to me. My mom laughed but kept working in the kitchen when we looked at her.

"Are you saying I'm a failure" I shot at her and she rolled her eyes.

"Well you will be if you don't listen to me" she said and I mentally laughed.

"But I'm right" I said and she groaned falling onto the counter top. My mom sent me a glare and Bobby popped up and started hitting me.

"Hey" I yelled tickling her and she laughed almost falling off the stool. I looked towards my mom and she was giving me the go ahead look. I immediately sent back the are you kidding me look and she threw daggers at me with her eyes.

"Bobby you wanna go to a diner sometime?" I blurted and we both stopped. She looked at me weird and a bit confused.

"You know just go out to talk and catch up on what we missed in the three months we didn't talk" I said and she pressed her lips together and thought about it before nodding.

"Sure sounds good to me" she said and I was shocked.

"Okay so I have to eliminate the y?" I asked and she smiled and nodded.

Eliminate y solve for x.
