Lily, in her normal outfit containing a blue knee high floral skirt with matching sandals, and a blue camisole, was walking towards Gen's house. Lily smiled as she looked around the bustling place, walking up some steps; she walked towards Gen's door and knocked on it gently.
"Gen, it's Lily, can I talk to you for a moment please?" She asked it wasn't that she was scared of him, but more of what he'll say when he hears what she was going to ask.
Gen opened the door seeing her there he nodded and she walked in and he closed the door. Lily sat by the table after taking off her shoes and he saw across from her. It was silent while no one said a word; she was trying to word this properly.
"I want you to train me,"
Gen was surprised by this question, and he asked "Why?"
Lily stared down at her hands as they shook gently, Gen eyed the scar unnoticeably and wondered why this question popped up out of nowhere, was it because of...
"I..." She began speaking, why was she so scared all of a sudden? "I wanna become stronger, like you and Yoshi. And Tokine and Blossom too, but... I'm afraid if I ask Yoshi he'll tell me not to be on the battlefield because he doesn't want me hurt... but... but..."
Gen continued listening as he saw a tear drop on her hand, more and more fell, he didn't feel confused about this situation and he didn't feel bad for her for asking. In fact, he actually felt horrible for her because of her wanting to fight.
"I just want to be useful, I hate standing on the sidelines and wondering if you're all alright, I hate waiting. I... I just want to be by all of your sides."
Gen let out a breath and she looked up with tears falling from her eyes, "Yeah, I'll train you. I'll make sure Yoshimori doesn't find out either. I understand your position in your in. I do. I'll do what I can, just don't expect me to go easy on you."
Lily's face brightened up and she smiled nodding vigorously, wiping her face with her left arm. Gen glanced at her scar on her right arm, sad about what happened but didn't show it. She was happy that she'll be able to train with him and be by everyone's side; at least she won't see them hurt because of her again.
"Come on, I have a spot I found when I was in town one day."
Lily nodded and he got up grabbing his clothes and something else, she followed him to the place.

"Here we are, grab on to my neck."
Lily nodded and grabbed his neck gently and he jumped into the air and over the fence, not scared out of her mind like some girls would be. She enjoyed that, when he landed she let go and followed him deeper into the alleyway.
Lily was wondering where he was taking her; she gazed around her surroundings when it suddenly changed. Eyes widening, she looked ahead seeing a waterfall in the distance, a giant oak tree lay in the middle of the meadow, green, luscious grass stayed medium length to the heel of her foot and clouds painted the sky like on a summer day.
"Whoa," She breathed out with a smile crossing her face. "How did you find this place, Gen?"
"I'm not sure honestly," Gen shrugged, "I was just roaming around town one night when I came across this."
Lily smiled and turned her head seeing random flowers growing on the side of the field, maybe she'll have to take care of them to make sure they stay healthy.
"Hey," Lily turned to him catching an outfit being thrown at her. She blinked and stared at him. "Change into that behind the Oak tree, and then we will begin your training."
