Lily sat on the porch looking at the sky, it was the next day and she felt really sick to her stomach because of the other night so she really didn't get much sleep that night. Eyes were red and puffy, hands were shaking because of the lack of energy she had. Her father became worried, Gramps had lectured her on leaving the house and fighting at Karasumori but she tuned that out.
Lily could really care less, honestly.
"Lily..." A voice beside her began; she looked up with dull eyes seeing Masamori there. "Come on, we're going."
Lily nodded gently and got up pulling the blanket closer to her shoulders as she walked beside him and he put his hand on her shoulder guiding her. When they walked into the house, Masamori pulled off the blanket seeing her in only her pajamas. Masamori quietly sighed and told her to stay there; Lily complied and stayed in one spot.
When Masamori returned, Yoshimori was behind him. Lily glanced away from him and turned to face the door. Lily wasn't mad at Yoshimori about anything; it's just the twin thing where they think they did the wrong thing.
"Shouldn't we bring Tokine and Blossom?" asked Yoshimori.
"No," Masamori stated simply. "We're not even supposed to be going at all..."

Masamori, Yoshimori and Lily walked in seeing people wearing black.
"Um..." Masamori started talking to the man. "Where do we sign in?"
The man told him but Lily wasn't really paying attention to it, and she followed him in while staying beside Yoshimori.
The man turned seeing them and he walked up to them beginning to speak. "Masamori, I'm sorry but-"
"Ryo, hold on a moment!"
"What did you come here for?" Ryo questioned Masamori rudely. Lily stood there, scared to say anything to her.
"Ryo go wait over there."
"Be quiet dad!"
"I am truly sorry for your loss..." Masamori apologized to her softly.
"Like hell you are! I don't wanna hear it!" Ryo shouted at him, drawing attention to them. "Please just leave..."
Yoshimori and Lily had no words to speak, and Lily felt really sick to her stomach coming here and she tried ignoring it but it didn't help.
"I understand..." Masamori closed his eyes as he gave her something. Lily gasped at the size of the letters. "But I will still return these to you. Since they're still yours,"
"These are the letters I sent."
Masamori nodded. "The seal hasn't been broken, since I didn't think he was ready for them. I had been keeping them hidden from him. One day, when his heart was strong enough, I was planning on giving these letters to him."
Ryo's tears spilled from her eyes as she put a hand to her mouth in disbelief. "This is horrible... My words... Not one letter even reached him... What kind of a job kills a fourteen year old boy?!"
"Ryo stop it."
"I haven't seen Gen sense then! Even if I couldn't get in touch with him, I thought at least he would read my letters." Ryo told Masamori as she showed him the scar Gen left on her skin, Lily gasped quietly as did Yoshimori. "I thank you for saving my life that day, and I'm still grateful. But why couldn't you save Gen?"
Lily closed her eyes tightly whilst tears spilled from her eyes. Masamori looked back at her and sighed looking at Ryo.
"I betrayed him once...I wanted to apologize for that... I WANTED TO APOLOGIZE!"
Ryo's father hugged her close, and Lily stared in shock and quietly looked away.
"I'm sorry, but could you please leave..." Ryo's father asked them. "Even though you kept him under our conditions, I'm sorry."
"No..." Masamori quietly replied. "I'm sorry for intruding."
Masamori began walking off but Lily and Yoshimori stayed in one spot.
"Yoshimori, Lily, we're going." Masamori told them bowing the Shishio's.
Lily nodded and turned to them. "I'm very sorry for what happened to Gen... I owed him my life and I couldn't do anything to save him... I'm sorry!" Lily bowed to them and quickly caught up to Masamori before they could ask questions.
"Um... Gen wanted to... Wanted to apologize to you, but I was continuously in his debt and yet I couldn't do anything to save him. But... he kept laughing, saying not to worry." Yoshimori told them with his eyes casted down to the ground. He bowed quickly, "I'M SORRY!" Yoshimori ran off to catch up with them.
"Wait... Were you two...His friends?"
Yoshimori looked back and nodded. "Yeah!"

It was silent as they walked off from the Shishio grounds, Lily had nothing to say but hate herself for not trying to save him.
"If you two want to hate me, go ahead." Masamori told them glancing behind him. "I'm the one at fault. He... Wouldn't have been able to live without a purpose in life..."
Yoshimori quietly sighed and stopped walking with a serious face. "Big brother, Iris..." Lily stopped and looked back with Masamori. "The Kokuboro, I'll crush them!"
Masamori was silent while gazing at his younger brother.
"You're not the only one who's angry." Masamori reminded him. Lily looked at him as he began walking off. "I'll take command! If you're too slow, I'll leave you behind."
Yoshimori nodded and walked behind him as Lily stood in one spot.
'Ever since then... I've been traveling the path of my two brothers because they were so far ahead of me. Gen too, I thought I would never catch up but I have, because they've been waiting for me.' Lily looked down gently. 'Gen saw through my flaws and helped me understand who I really was... He helped me catch up to them and become strong... And for that, I thank you from my heart, Gen...'
"Lily, are you coming?!" Yoshimori called out to her.
"Yeah!" Lily replied and trotted behind him.
'Now I know what it's like... to be myself and not be someone else. You saved my life from eternal loneliness Gen. I couldn't ask for more than that... I will never forget you. I'll always remember you, Gen okay.'
"Farewell Gen... Sleep in peace you hear me."
