Chapter 17
"Your hand fits in mine, like it's made just for me. But bear this in mind... It was meant to be and I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks...And it all makes sense to me" Zayn sung out to the Dublin crowd. The crowd was singing the lyrics will all of their hearts, and not a single scream rang through the arena.
"I know you've never loved the crinkles by your eyes when you smile, you've never loved your stomach or your thighs, the dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine but I'll love them endlessly."
Harry got this chill that ran through his whole body. This was the coolest thing he had ever experienced. This entire crowd with thousands and thousands of people knew the words to a song that he sung. It was unreal... Unbelievable... Yet, here he stood with watery eyes.
"I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth.. But if I do, It's you. Oh, it's you they add up to. I'm in love with you And all these little things"
Then Louis' voice rang out, singing along with the entire crowd. "You can't go to bed without a cup of tea and maybe that's the reason that you talk in your sleep... And all those conversations are the secrets that I keep, though it makes no sense to me.."
And his voice was soft and so perfect that it made Harry's heart melt. With his voice thick with emotion, he sang out to the wonderful crowd, "I know you've never loved...The sound of your voice on tape. You never want... To know how much you weigh. You still have to squeeze into your jeans, but you're perfect to me..."
Then he and Niall began singing together, although he deeply wished it was Louis instead, "I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth.. But if it's true... It's you... It's you they add up to." Harry couldn't help but look right to Louis as he said the next line, and surprisingly, he was already staring right back. "I'm in love with you and all these little things."
The crowd went ballistic when Niall sang his solo. They whooped and hollered and basically screamed bloody murder as his voice was drowned by love. Harry didn't pay attention. He couldn't stop staring at Louis. His blue eyes were wide, staring fully at Harry and full of an emotion that Harry couldn't quite understand.
'Stop, Harry. Management will throw a fit if you keep staring... You know how much they hate those rumors...'
But he couldn't stop. And a sly smile fell on his face as Louis sported a small giggle. If Harry's heart wasn't already melted enough, that did it.
Louis fixed his fringe casually, never loosing his gaze away from Harry. Louis gave him a smile that screamed words that made no sense to Harry. He almost looked like he was flirting... But he couldn't be...
