*Chapter 12*

I think I'm being watched. The feeling of eyes on my sleeping form made me flutter my own eyes open.

It was true. I was being watched by a silhouette. A male silhouette. I felt like I recognized it and as soon as I was about to guess who it is. He spoke. Confirming my suspicions.

"Hello Lainy." Stephen said.

"Uh, hi? Can you leave please? I'd like to go back to sleep if you don't mind."

"Oh but you are still asleep I'm just channeled into your dreams. Thanks to a fellow witch."

Well there goes my trust for other witches. Stephen stepped closer and sat on my bed laying down next to me. "Yeah um, this is my bed and I like to be alone in it."

"Oh calm your pits its just a dream." Stephan said waving his hand in a dismissive manner in front of his face. "Speaking of which. What do you want?" I raised and eyebrow and looked at him. He smiled and leaned a little closer to where he only had to whisper for me to hear him. "I just wanted to warn you that my beloved brother, Elijah, isn't gonna be here to be your bodyguard forever."

I looked at him and scowled. "Listen here buddy boy. I can take care of myself." I poked his chest as hard as I could, but I'm pretty sure it hurt me more than it hurt him. He chuckled and shook his head. "Worst. Insult. Ever."

"It wasn't an insult it was..erm..uh...I'll get back to you on that one." I was still thinking on what it was until he said, " Well you can just tell me at school when you figure it out. That's if you can get through the barrier of girls that follow me everywhere." he rolled his eyes a if he hated that those girls oggle over him all day every day. I know he loved the attention.

'He's a stupid attention whore that's what he is.' I thought. Then laughed inwardly, Elijah would be proud of that vocabulary word. Stephen sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed. "I suggest you don't tell Elijah about your dream encounter with me."

"And why's that?" I asked sitting up and cocking my head to the side. "Because you and I both know how jealous he can get over someone close to him collaborating with someone who isn't so close to him." The corner of his mouth tilted up and he raised an eyebrow slightly. Then that reminded me, "What happened between you guys?" I pursed my lips and furrowed my brow.

He chucked and said, "That's for me to know and you to find out." I groaned and fell back on my pillow. "You and your brother. You guys never tell me anything."

"There are reasons for that Lainy."

"Well those reasons are stupid. Care to share them?" I looked at him from the corner of my eye. "Nope."

"Of course you don't." I sighed. He smiled and shook his head. "Go to sleep Lainy."

"But I'm not tired." And of course my brain thought it was the appropiate time to yawn. "Yes you are, now go to sleep." My eye lids started getting heavy and I started to relax.

Before I fell asleep Stephen put his hand on my head, sweeping the curls from my forehead and kissed it gently. "We will be together love. Soon. One day." he whispered. But before I could ask him what crazy pill he had taken I fell asleep letting the hands of darkness pull me under.

Oh. My. Gosh. I feel so bad I haven't been downloading I've been so busy with life and shtuff!!! its so just...bleh! anyways I'm so sawry about the short boring chapter!
