I was in complete shock. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to" He kept avoiding my gaze.

"What are you talking about Elijah?"

He looked at me finally and said, "You might need to sit." I obliged and looked at him."Well, um... Well first I might start at... Your a witch, obviously, and every mythical creature you've heard of is real. Exept unicorns. They died a long time ago." He had a sad expression on his face. I waited for him to carry on. A few seconds passed before I snapped my fingers infront of his face. "Any ways, witches aren't what you think. There's no pointy hats, no green skin, or warts, and definatly no flying brooms. I thought your parents told you but apperantly not."  He froze, eyes wide. "Oh shit, Your mom is gonna kill me!" He exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes and mumbled "Glad I'm not the only one."  

I hadn't realized I was smiling until Elijah asked, "What are you smiling about?"

"Oh nothing. Just that I won't have to kill you. My parents will." I was still smiling.

 "Lainy it's just an expression."

My smile disappeared instantly. "Damn it!" He rolled his eyes and started mumbling to himself . I stood up and started heading out the door.

"Where do you think you going?"

I looked over my sholder. "Um... school?" He walked up to me and grabbed my arms.

"No way. Not with Stephen there."

"Why?"

He looked at me like I was stupid. "Why do you think?"

"Ummm because you jealous?"

He shook his head. "Pfffft. No" I looked at him ridicilously.

"You are jealous!"

He looked at the ground. "Okay, I admit it. I am but, that's not the only reason. Stephen's a vampire and I don't trust him around you."

I rolled my eyes and said, "I thought I was a witch or whatever. I can protect myself."

"Yeah but, you just found out. We don't even know how strong your powers are."

I rolled my eyes and started walking again. "Well you not the boss of me. So I'm going weather you like it or not."

He growled and said, "I don't want to force you Lainy." I scoffed and kept walking.

"You can't force me to do anything!" As I was walking I could feel his breath on my neck. I spun around just in time to feel a huge thump on the back of my head.
