Chapter 2

I woke up to Elijah knocking on my door. " Come on Lainy. Got to get up."

I pulled the pillow over my head and let out a load groan. "No, I'm sick!" I lied

"I know you're not sick, now get up." He said back through the door. I got up feeling like a zombie. I went to the bathroom and took a shower, brushed my teeth and whatever us girls to before school. I then went to my closet and put on black skinnies and my favorite grey jacket. I went into my room grabbed my back pack and tudged down the stairs. Ounce I was out the door I started walking next to Elijah to school.

I looked over at him and realized he looked in deep concentration. "Are you still mad about yesterday?"

He almost looked startled when I asked him that. "No." Was my only answer.

"Then whats wrong?"

"Nothing." I stopped him and looked at him.

"Your lying."

He sighed and ran a hair through his hair. "Can we please just get to school? We're gonna be late." He started walking away before I could even answer. I shrugged it off and started walking again.

When we got to school, we parted ways to first period. I walked into class and sat on my desk in the back. I started to doodle in my binder when a deep husky voice said. "Thats good." I looked up, only to be struck by  shock. A boy around my age, give or take a year, stood in front of my desk. He had broud sholders and decent size biceps. He had dark brown hair. So dark it could be mistaken for black. He had pale skin which stood out in his all black attire. But what mostly stood out were his bright blue, saphire eyes.

I hadn't noticed I was staring until he said, "See anything you like?"

I emedietly blushed and looked down. When I looked up I was suprised to see he was sitting next to me. "Hi I'm Stephan. And you are?"

I straightened myself and held out my hand. "Hey, I'm Lainy. You new?" He nodded his head and took his stuff out of his back pack. I started drawing again then realized I never said thank you for what he said about my drawing. "Thank you."

He looked over at me in confusion then asked, "For what?"

"For saying you liked my drawing."

He nodded in understandment and smiled. "Your welcome."

I went back to drawing when he asked, "What classes do you have?" I told him all my classes and oddly enough we had all our classes together.

"So, where did you come from?" I asked alittle curious.

"England." He replied like it was the most normal thing.

I raised my eyebrows in suprise. "Why did you move?"

"My parents had work here." I nodded and went back to drawing.

When class was over, we both headed to second period. Elijah was in that period so I was exited to introduce Stephen to him. I walked into class and sat next to Elijah. He didn't seem to notice my presece so I slapped him on the sholder. He looked up and smiled . I smiled back and said "Hey."

Then he hugged me. I was so suprised by his sudden mood change that the only thing I did was freeze with eyes wide open. When he pulled away he looked over my sholder and his smile slowly disappeared and he narrowed his eyes. I looked behind me and saw Stephen doing the same thingto Elijah.

I couldn't help but see something like... anger maybe. But, as soon as I saw it, it disappeared. I pulled away from Elijah and gestured my hand to Stephen.

"Elijah, this is Stephen. Stephen, this is Elijah."

Stephen held his hand out and said, "Nice to meet you."

Elijah grabbed his hand and shook harder than needed. I guess it was a guy thing. I turned towards the front of the class when the teaher came in.

As soon as class was over Elijah took off in the opposite direvtion of the cafeteria. "Hey I gotta go. Meet up with you?" I said to Stephan, still looking in the direction Elijah took off in.

"Yeah sure, see you later."

As soon as he said it, I sprinted and found Elijah leaning against the wall out side with his hands on the back of his head."Elijah you okay?" He opened his eyes and nodded his head.

"Yeah. Sort of. Just a headache." He looked at me and shook his head.

I nodded and said, "Well, I'm coming over later tonight to see if you okay." He just closed his eyes, nodded, and walked off.

I was kind of dissapointed about his sudden outburst, but I just shrugged it off and headed to the cafeteria.

I got my lunch and sat down at a table. When I was almost finished I heard giggling. I looked to my left only to find a group of girls around Stephan. I rolled my eyes and thought 'Great, he's one of those types' I went back to eating. When I was done I stood and threw my trash away. When I turned to walk out of the cafeteria, I ran into what seemed like a person but felt like a brick wall against my face. I waited for impact with the floor, but it never came.

I opened my eyes to stare right back at a pair of blue, saphire eyes. He chuckled and revealed a breath taking crooked smile. "You know Lainy, it's impolite to run into people."

I instantlly got mad and pushed him away. "Can I at least get a thanks?"

I shook my head and walked to third period. Frusterated he had every class with me. I sat at my desk and couldn't wait for the day to be over.

I know its boring and uneventful but i warned you if you didnt like the first chapter then stop reading. hehe its probably only gonna get worst we'll just have to cross our fingers and toes and hope for the best .... oh and cross you eyes. haha keep reading if you at least have a little interest in it.
