The day dragged on agonizingly long. It was odd being in different classes than the ones I used to be in. Well, the first reason for that was I could feel Elijah bore holes in the back of my neck or the side or my face with his eyes. At times I would turn to him and mouth

'Seriously? Pay attention to class not me!' He would only roll his eyes and stare to the front and every time I turned back around I would feel the same two holes being burnt into my flesh. I sighed and decided to just take action. I noticed the girl next to me had a water bottle. I smirked and concentrated in the liquid in it. It was tea. Extra sweet. Perfect. That means its extra sticky to.

I had been so concentrated on the tea that it started to shake. That was until Elijah said in my mind,'Lainy. don't you dare I know what your thinking.'

'Are you sure? Because I don't think you really do.' He scoffed and was about to say something back but I had dumped the dirt from the plant behind him all over him.

The whole class went silent and turned around. I looked at him too acting like I was just another student that was doing class work when a plant mysteriously got dumped on my best friends head.

He looked up and spared me a quick glance. "Uh mister Elijah? do you want to explain to us what it is you are doing?" The teacher asked with his brow raised.

He pondered for a moment before he said, "Oh yeah, um, I just thought I was just alittle TO clean so I decided to freshen up... well, unfreshen up I should say." The side of his mouth turned up and he shrugged. The teacher shook his head, rubbed his temples, and turned back to turned back to the board. Droning on about math stuff.

Everyone had turned back towards the front except for me. It took all my will power to hold in my laughter. 'You really wanna play this game Lainy?' I shrugged and smiled even wider. 'Well I hope those aren't new jeans.' My smile instantly disappeared because, matter of factly, they were. I raised my butte just enough to see that I couldn't.

'Elijah! What did you do?'

'Oh nothing just I dropped this on your seat.' He held up a small tube of Oober Sticky Glue. I cursed under my breath and smacked my head on the desk. I could hear him snickering behind me.

The bell had rung right then everyone shuffled out if the room other than Elijah and me. I tried to get up and just tear my jeans butte off but that didn't work. I gave up and looked up at Elijah.

"Turn around."

"Why"

"Just do it." He did as get was told and I took in a breath. I then unbuttoned my pants and slid out of them. "Go get my gym shorts."

"Whats the magic word?"

"Fine, please?"

He was gone in an instant and back as quick as he left. He had my gym shorts in his hand and brought them to me. I snatched them out of his hand and slipped them on. "Thanks. Jerk." He only smiled and led me out of the room. I then thought of what the person in the next class would think. Than I realized we were the last class of the day.

"Come on I should take you home shouldn't I?" I only nodded and followed him out the door and started walking.

"I will get you back don't you worry" I said glaring in his direction. He chuckled and kept walking. We arrived at my house and stopped I went on and yelled over my shoulder. "You owe me a new pair of jeans!" and walked into my house.
