"What the hell is this?!?!" I almost spit out my drink
"Ummm coffee?" Anna says in an obvious tone, OK I didn't turn dumb...
"I know it's coffee but this one sucks balls." She starts laughing at my statement and I just stare at her like what the hell
"You had the most disgusted face in the world it was hilarious." She manages to say between laughs, I don't understand how loud she can be. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom." She says and stands up, still trying to hold back laughter.
"Dick." I mutter under my breath and stare down at my coffee spacing out
"Mind if I sit?" I look up and ugh. Cameron.
"No you cannot, Anna will come back any second now." I spit out as coldly as I can at that asshole, he sits down anyway I just huff loudly and look away clenching my jaw so I don't punch his smuggy face.
"Come on you can't stay mad forever." He says with puppy dog eyes
"Yes I can just watch." I say and take a sip of my coffee I don't care how bad it is right now
"God why are you so difficult? You're just making my life harder." He mutters so I can't hear, but I do.
"I'm making your life harder?!?" I raise my voice a bit but calm right down "get out of here before I throw this coffee at your face."
"You're still the bitch I dumped. I thought it'd be easier to get you when you have a broken heart but guess not. Bye." He spats and leaves quickly.
What did that mean?
Does he know about Luke?! How could he, nobody knows but Anna unless someone filmed it. Can they even do that backstage?
I'm so confused right now I don't understand what's going on. As if on cue Anna comes from the bathroom.
"How does Cam know about me and Luke?" I bombed on her as she sat down, I'm absolutely fuming right now.
"I-I dunno..." she stutters sitting at her coffee and rubs her nose on the side. A solid sign of when she's lying.
"You're lying to me. Tell me in this moment." She sighs knowing she's caught
"Ok. I may have told Chris to just blow out steam." She says quietly.
"YOU WHAT?!" I yell getting some weird looks
"I'm sorry but I-"
"No you're not. I should go to Chris and tell him you cheated on him with Michael." Her eyes go wide and I just huff "But I won't because I can keep my mouth shut, but I am telling Michael next week." I stand up and storm out of the cafe
This sure is being one hell of a week. I plug my ear buds in my iPod and blast out Pierce The Veil as I walk home, Anna drove here and I just don't understand how she could do that I mean, she knows how bad I am and now the entire city know that I'm the girl that got her heart broke by the one and only Luke Hemmings.
I feel by phone buzz in my pocket and I unlock it.
"It feels so quiet without you. You'll probably never even see this but it was real all of it. I love you. Goodbye, hopefully not forever."
I can't help but let a tear fall.
"Everyone knows. I'm the laughing stock of the city. That concert was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I lost my best friend and the only guy I ever loved, I just can't find it in my heart to forgive just yet. I'm sorry."
I let out a shaky breath as I press send. I turn off my phone not wanting to see his reaction. I run all the way to my home.
Luke's POV:
" Everyone knows. I'm the laughing stock of the city. That concert was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I lost my best friend and the only guy I ever loved, I just can't find it in my heart to forgive just yet. I'm sorry."
HOLY SHIT SHE ANSWERED BACK.
"MICHAEL!!" I yell at the top of my lungs
He came running into my room. "What happened??" He asks frantic
"She texted back." I show him my phone and he takes in sitting in front of me
"What does she mean by 'I just lost my best friend?'" I shrug and he takes his phone out and puts it on speaker in the middle of the bed.
"Hello?"
"Hey Anna. What happened with you and Claire? She texted Luke." I hear her sigh
"I told Chris about what happened, and he told someone else, so on. Today we went to a coffee shop and Cam talked to her when I went to the bathroom."
"He WHAT?!!" I yell and Mike frowns at my outburst.
"Yeah and now she's pissed at me."
"SHIT. How is she?" I ask hopeful.
"Today was the first day I got her out of the house, she was living like a freaking hermit and now... I don't know when she'll come out. She's destroyed, what did she say it the text?"
"She said she's laughing stock if the city, that she lost her best friend and the guy she loved and she can't find it in her heart to fogive him yet." Mike said for me
"Yet? That's a good thing. She only says yet when she wants to but she's afraid."
"Of what?"
"Story repeating. There are things you don't know and I'm sure of it."
"What don't I know." I ask
"You need to hear it from her."
She hung up. What the fuck does that mean? I'm so confused but maybe now she'll start slowly answering me.
