Fiona

He's really a jerk! He always sound so possessive and he's giving Dylan the looks that he wanted to skin him alive. He can't have both Casey and me. I decided to avoid him from now on. But as soon as I saw him in his hockey uniform on the ice, all my resolves melted in a puff. He was so handsome as he flashed his smile showing his pair of dimples. He was throwing me this look that I was the most beautiful girl on this face of the Earth, that keeps me wondering how does he do that. He always make me feel so special that I forget my flaws.

The game went on full swing with Matthew and Brennan scoring most for York. Then Dylan made his way to us in the middle of the game as he just finished basketball practice. Followed in a few minutes by Casey, wearing a tight dark blue jeans and a light blue floral long sleeves her long blond hair freely cascading until her waist. She was captivatingly beautiful. We exchanged awkward greetings and she seated herself beside Rain. I thought she was in New York. What the hell!

I wanted to go home. I was feeling so uncomfortable with Casey now present. But I don't want to make a scene. I've decided to wait until the end of the game and will ask Dylan to bring me home. But Brennan had other plans. He invited all of us for dine out which I immediately declined. I was a bit hungry nearing the end of the game but I lost my appetite when I saw them kiss again. Why does it always have to be in my face? Is fate always taunting me to make me realize the mess I am going into? I was beginning to dislike my cousin's bestfriend.

To prolong my agony, I saw Matthew with Brennan rushing to us. Both fresh from the showers, I can't help but watch in awe how can somebody looked so good, even with just a plain white shirt and wet hair which Matthew keep running his fingers with. I caught a whiff of his familiar smell which I can never forget and never get tired of smelling. But when Casey immediately wrapped her arms around Matthew's waist and pecked his lips, I was snatched from the world of daydreaming and was thrown into the bin.

Great!

I don't know if it was out of spite or, jealousy maybe, I grabbed Dylan's hand and proceeded to his car, slamming the door too hard which caused him to jump on the driver's seat immediately.

"Whoa! Slow down there Miss I-love-danger! You're gonna hurt my baby," Dylan said as he patted his dashboard like petting his pet.

"Sorry, my bad", I apologized. " Can I drive? Just tell me where to go. Pleeease! Promise I'll be careful." I knew he will let me and he can't say no. Not to me.

"Fine. But be careful. No drifting. And no going beyond eighty", he relented and unbuckled his seat belt. He perfectly knew I drive crazy thus the warnings.

I went to the driver's side and revved the engine. Dylan's car was smooth. It was a Ford limited edition Capri.

" Can we go the long way and not take the short cut?", I egged him. "This car is super nice. I can drive this for days."

"Yeah, sure. But Matthew's car is nicer, it has a turbo something, which the guys always talk about and want to try. I haven't tried it though. Guess he doesn't like me that much yet to let me drive his car."

I changed the topic as I don't want our conversation to dwell on Matthew. "So, I'll take that roundabout and go straight to Ben's, right?"

"Yes ma'am!"

I found the diner and went straight to the parking lot. As we neared the entrance, a scowling Matthew was pacing just outside the door.

"What took you so long? And why the hell did you let her drive?", obviously he was talking to Dylan.

"So who are you now, my Dad?,"I blurted sarcastically. "I told you Dyl. This was not a good idea. We could have gone straight home and did something else."
