Fiona

I knew he was lying when I asked Matthew if he has a first aid kit with him. I knew the rink has. And probably his car, too. But I guess I was also too excited about what he was about to divulge as Brennan and Rain told me he has a very important matter to say to me. I readily agreed to fix his wounds at their house so that we can finally talk, once and for all.

We drove in silence in his car and reached their house in a few minutes. It was dark inside, obviously no one was home. I saw several photos on the living room wall. And decided to take my time to look at them. He pointed at a photo of his brother who looked a lot like him, though a bit older. His brother's wife and kids who were good looking twins. And his parents. It seemed he was upset of something about his parents that his facial features changed when he mentioned about them. I made a mental note to ask him in a different situation.

I cleaned his wounds and started to get really nervous of what he was going to say. I knew he could hear my heartbeat which started to erratically make a blasting noise in my chest. I saw his adam's apple bobbing as though he was swallowing repeatedly. I was about to tell him that he take me home since I was done. But he cut me off and told me he has something to tell me.

I was shocked when he confirmed that his engagement with Casey was really off. And that she fell in love with her co-star and was engaged, again. And then he told me he fell in love with someone, too.

My heart suddenly erupted and I thought it stopped working a few beats. I thought he was feeling something for me too. Or was it just a wishful thinking? But he looked at me differently. I thought he was feeling something for me? I felt my eyes stung in pain, tears about to fall.

Then he said the three words I so long to hear. It was as if the gates of heaven opened with all the angels singing hallelujah!

"I love you, Fiona. So much, that I wanted to rip Dylan apart when I saw you a while ago", he finally confessed.

He professed his love beginning from the time he saw me at the bookstore where he gave me a book. He was convinced and I think I am, too, that it was probably love at first sight for both of us. I was feeling so happy deep inside that when he crashed his lips to mine, it was beyond our control. I've been missing him so much. And I missed being kissed by him. I've tasted my tears mixed with our lips full of hunger for each other's tastes. I've let his tongue travel under my neck and along my collarbone. I wanted to give him all right here, right now. I was ready to make him my first and I know it would be the greatest feeling I'll ever feel. God! I love him so much. I can finally say he's mine. And I rightfully belong to him. Heat emanates from both our bodies and I can feel him too, that he wanted to take it further. I can hear his soft moans, as I dip my fingers through his hair, that's making me more heated and aroused. That's when his phone went off blasting a familiar music. I can never be wrong I've heard that too many times when I was with Rain.

We were both catching our breaths and although I felt that he didn't want to let go, he slid off of me and fished his phone out of his pocket. I knew that ring tune. I was a hundred percent sure it was Brennan.

With a groan, he answered, "yo, brother, what a great timing you got there!"He ran his fingers through his hair.

"Yeah. She's with me. We're okay a while ago, until your damned call". He was smirking as he looked at me and I felt my cheeks felt flushed again.

"Yeah, I told her. I said we're fine, jerk! I'm gonna take her home in a few. Bye. I said, bye Brennan", he cut him off and slid his phone back to his pocket.

"Stupid jerk", he muttered. Then cleared his throat and asked,"where were we before we we were interrupted by my loving bestfriend?"

I stiffled a laugh and pulled myself up from the couch. "I think we better go. Aunt Amy and Rain would be worried. Besides, I got early classes tomorrow".
