-Nightmare? Dream? Or Miracle?-

I was staying up with Matt. Jamie was upstairs in her room sleeping. It was nearly midnight. Me and Matt were just watching horror movies until maybe 4:00 or 2:00 in the morning. We were watching The Conjuring. I'm surprised Jamie hasne't woken up yet and yelled at us to turn the tv off, she must be really tired.
"Matt, have you ever saved anyone, in a real situation?"
I asked as Matt looked at me.
"I tried to save my mom but, it was too late"
Matt responded making me nod.
"But what you did to my sister, that was...you probably would have died going in there"
Matt said as I sighed.
"I would do anything for her"
I said as he nodded.
"What should we do tomorrow?"
Matt asked as I looked at him and smiled.
"Do you guys want to go to the school on Sunday?"
I asked making Matt look at me.
"What for?"
He asked As I shrugged.
"It's open and no one is there but janitors"
I smirked. Matt smirked as well.
"You're planning on playing hide and seek or manhunt through the halls?"
Matt smirked making me laugh.
"I've always done it last year in my old school"
I said as Matt smirked and chuckled.
"Same, I did it ever since 7th grade. Those were the days, the one janitor caught us one time but after that, none of them caught us"
Matt said making me laugh.
"So school tomorrow?"
I asked as he nodded.

Jamie

It was the second last week of school. And that Monday, I had cancer in my lungs. I just realized it the day before. Matt and Ashton were really upset about it. So am I, i was always that sporty kind of person. I ran a lot until this happened to me. So once I walked through the school doors. Ashton was by my side. I didn't have my binder or backpack. I walked up to Dani and Katherin.
"Hey Jamie, are you ok?"
Dani asked making me look down. Ashton wrapped his arm around me.
"Jamie, has-"
"Lung cancer"
I interrupted him making Dani and Katheirn gasp. Their eyes started to water. I looked at them with tears starting to run down my face. They hugged me making me hug back. I pulled off.
"Please don't cry, please"
I said as I wiped my tears away. They cried even more.
"I can't. Hearing this just now"
Dani cried, I shook my head. I wiped their tears.
"Look, since I only have a few days left, I want to spend them with everyone who was there with me"
I said as they nodded.
"How long do you have?"
Katherin asked.
"Look, if I don't show up for school on Monday next week. Then, I'm so sorry, but if I do, I hope I would see everyone of my friend smile at me"
I said as they nodded and hugged me once more.
"Please, Jamie, promise me this"
Katherin said as I pulled off.
"Promise me, that we'll see each other again"
Katherin said as I smiled and cried.
"I promise"

So every day that week, our teachers allowed me and all my friends to get a free-school-week off. We've watched movie together, we didn't care how mush we spent. We've played many games and even made up a few. We've gone places we shouldn't have gone to but we had fun there. Then Friday came, it was 9:30 in the evening. It was time for us to go home, sadly. Ashton walked me home. I saw Matt in the truck ready to drive me to hospital.
Katherin
It was Monday morning, me, Dani, Praise, James, Damian, Ethan, everyone in our class were waiting in the hall near our classroom. The hall was just blocked by us. Me, Dani and Praise were holding hands hoping we see Jamie walk down the hall in front of us. Ashton was here also standing next to Ethan. Dear lord please give our friend back.
Matt
Here I was waiting outside of the emergency room, crying praying, hoping Jamie would make it. Then after an hour, I saw the doctor come out making me stand.
"Doc?"
I asked as he sighed. Then he formed a small smile on his face.
"The treatment worked, she survived"
He said making me gasped and smile.
"She can go after an hour when she wakes up"
The Doc said making me nod. I checked the time. It was 7:30am, she'll be at school at 8:40 tops.
Jamie
After my long slumber, I felt my eyes open. I'm...alive?! I sat up and gasped. Matt held my hand.
"Oh my god, Jamie you're ok"
Matt cried as he hugged me. I cried and hugged back. I pulled off.
"What time is it?!"
I asked as Matt chuckled and wiped his tears.
"It's only 8:30"
He answered as I smiled.

I was now in my room, I walked over to my closet and picked out a white dress. It was until the top of my knees. I clipped a white fake flower in my hair. I walked over to the mirror. I smiled. I took a deep breathe in and out. I'm glad the treatment worked. Now I have to tell them.

I walked into the school a different way. Once I popped my head out towards the hall. I saw all of them standing blocking the were facing the main doors of the school. I smiled. I walked up from behind not too close and I cleared my throat.
Katherin
It had been an hour and we were all starting to worry and cry. I walked up forward a few steps hearing nothing. I fell to the ground and bawled my eyes out. I felt Dani's hand and Praise's on my shoulder. It can't be, it can't. Then my head jerked up as I heard someone clear their throat. I turned around making everyone move out of the way facing the back. A girl in a simple white dress with a white flower in her hair. She tilted her head side ways and smiled.
"Is the President coming to the school or?"
She smiled making me gasp.
"Jamie?!"
Jamie
"Jamie?!"
Katherin, Dani and Praise screamed making me start to cry. I ran up to them and hugged them.
"OH MY GOD!"
Katherin cried making me cry. I pulled off.
"I made a promise didn't I?"
I said as they laughed along with me. I turned around finding everyone hug me. Then I saw Ashton. I walked up to him. He hugged me.
"I love you"
He whispered making me smile.
"I love you too"

Then my eyes opened making me sit up. What? Was that? A Nightmare? Dream? Or Miracle? I put a hand on my head.
"Why do I always have random dreams?"
I said as I chuckled to myself.
