-Why Jemma?-

Jamie
It was time for the last class of the day. As i walked out of Cultural Studies, i ran down the hall and towards my locker. I opened it taking my earphone out. Then i closed it. I jumped as i heard yelling and cursing before my name. I turned around seeing Jemma stomp her way towards me. Then she pushed me harshly to my locker. I winced in pain as she then pushed her finger onto my chest.
"You better back off sweetie cause Ashton Reece is mine! And mine only!"
She yelled and whispered as a crowd was forming.
"Ashton? You cheated on him!"
I yelled back making me covering my mouth in fear.
"What did you say?!?"
She yelled back as i shook my head.
"No no i didn't-"
Then she punched my gut making me cough off blood from my mouth. Just a drop only. I held my stomach.
"Don't you ever talk back to me like that. Ever! Again!"
She yelled as i fell to my knees, coughing. I wiped my mouth. Then i heard screams. Then my arms being lifted over their shoulder.
"Jamie!!! Are you alright?!?!"
Katherin said as Dani held my other arm walking me to the washroom. They sat me down on the sink wiping my mouth with a napkin. I winced as they screamed.
"I'm sorry!"
Dani said as i nodded. Katherin lifted my shirt slowly putting a cold cloth on my stomach from Jemma's punch. I sighed.
"Oh my god, she's going too far, what did she say this time?!"
Dani said as i sighed.
"Stay away from Ashton"
"Don't listen to her!"
Katherin said a i shook my head.
"Do you want Jemma to punch me down dead?!?"
They stayed quiet.
"What are you gonna do?"
I cried.
"I'm gonna do what she says"
They sighed.
"Jamie, please be careful and don't give up on the people you have feelings for"
Katherin said as i nodded.
"I promise"
I said as i stood up from the sink. I hugged them.

Ashton
"ASHTON ASHTON!"
I turned around seeing James and Damian.
"What?"
"Jamie, punched, by, Jemma"
My eyes widened. What?!?!?!
"WHAT?!?! WHY?!??"
"She wants you back"
I shook my head in disgust.
"Um no! Where is Jamie?"
"In the classroom, come on"
"Is there anything she said that made Jemma mad?"
"I think Jamie said that Jemma cheated on you, and then Jemma said stay away from you and junk like that"
I shook my head.
"Then she's never gonna go near me again"
I said as they shrugged. I closed my locker and ran into the classroom. I saw Jamie look up seeing a tear run sown her face making her look down as she saw me. Then Jemma walked in biting her lip in a flirtatious way. I rolled away and walked away from her. I sat down at a desk behind Jamie as James and Damian sat down on either side of me. Jemma sat down at the corner of the room. She waved at me as i looked at her. Then i rolled my eyes and looked at Jamie as she was writing in her binder. I sighed. Now i got a find a way for her to hang with me. I leaned into James ear.
"Hey can you do something for me?"
"What?"
"I don't want Jamie to ignore me so can you..."

Jamie
All i heard were Ashton and James whispering. I sighed. Well i knew my life would end up this way. As I sighed. Then i heard a pencil drop making me look down turning towards the pencil. I stood off my chair and picked it up then as i stood up i was right in front of Ashton.
"Sorry, you dropped this"
I said looking down as i took his hand and put the pencil in his hand. Then i walked to my chair and sat down.

After a few minutes, i felt a tap on my shoulder. I sighed.
"Um Jamie?"
It was James, i turned around as he gave me a note. Then he walked back to his seat. I turned back around and unfolded the note.
"Turn around please... -Ash"
I teared up a bit the wiped my tears.

Jemma
Ughhhhh!!!!!! I hate you Jamie!!!!! You bitch!!! Attention hog!!!! I watched Jamie read a note as she cried a bit. If you dare look back you'll regret it!!!

Jamie
I slowly turned around seeing Ashton just looking at me smiling. Then he said that one simple greeting forming a small smile on my face.
"Hi"
He whispered as i grinned.
"Hi"
I said back as he smiled. Then i turned back around continuing to write.

After classes, i was by my locker putting my stuff in my locker.
"JAMIE!!! YOU BITCH!!!"
Oh no. I closed my locker and breathed. I looked at her as her face was furious.
"You just can't take a hint can you?!?"
She said but before she would slap me someone's hand pulled her's back.
"Don't you dare touch my friend!!!"
Katherin. Then Dani pulled Jemma back making her fall towards the locker on the other side of the hall. Then Katherin and Dani held either one of my hands.
"Ugh! You guys will pay for this!"
Jemma yelled as she stood up and walked away.
"Are you ok?"
Dani asked me as i nodded.
"I'm fine, thanks"
I said as they smiled then James, Damian and Ashton came running.
"Is everything ok?!? What happened?!?"
Damian said as he ran towards Katherin and hugged her. James did the same to Dani. I smiled. Then Ashton walked up to me and held my arm.
"Are you hurt?"
He asked as i pulled away from him nodding. He sighed.
"Good"
He smiled making me smile a little.
"Come on Jamie, we got to take you home"
Katherin said as i nodded. Dani tied my hair up as i smiled. They waved bye to James and Damian as i smiled. They walked me to their car, driving me home safely.

"Mom, i'm fine, Katherin and Dani help me"
I said as Katherin and Dani nodded. Mom gave me a hug as i smiled.
"Oh and A new guy Ashton, helped out"
Katherin added as mom pulled off.
"Ashton? Ashton Reece?"
I nodded as she smiled.
"do you know him?"
"His mom is my partner at work"
I smiled.
"You should introduce him to me sometime"
"Um mom i hardly know him"
She smiled as i blushed.
"Ok we're off Jamie"
They both hugged me as i smiled and pulled off.
"I will see you tomorrow"
Katherin said as i nodded. As they walked out the door i locked it and looked at mom.
"So is Ashton your crush?"
"Mom, don't start"
I chuckled as she smiled.
"Oh Jamie, soon you will find your Prince Charming"
She said as i rolled my eyes grinning.
"I got homework mom"
"Ok sweetie, oh and Ashton and his mom are moving next door tomorrow"
My eyes widened.
"W-what?!"
She chuckled.
"Yea, their moving in tomorrow"
"Uhhh..."
"And she just called before you came home saying she wants to meet you"
I gulped.
"Um i don't know"
"I'll call his mom after school tomorrow ok?"
I blushed and nodded slowly.
"Ok if you have homework, go do it now ok?"
I nodded as i walked up the stairs.
