-What Happened?-

After what seemed like forever, I woke up. I sat up making me jerk my head around me. I was in a hospital bed. I looked around some more making me hold my head. Ow. I saw Matt stand up from his chair.
"Hey hey, Ash, calm down" he said as I looked at him.
"What happened? Where's Jamie?" I asked as he shrugged.
"The doctor hasn't called me into her room yet" he said as I pulled the blanket off.
"You just hit your head a little, thank god you were wearing your seat belt" Matt said as I held my head again.
"Doctor said I'm fine?" I asked as he nodded. I stepped off the bed. Then all the sudden a man with a white coat walked in making Matt walk towards him.
"How is she doc?" He asked as he smiled.
"She's awake, you may see her now" he said as Matt looked at me making me walk out the room following the doctor. He lead us to another room making me open the door slowly. There she was, with a bandage around her head laying on the bed. I walked over to a chair beside her and sat down.
"Hey" I whispered as she looked at me.
"Um Hi, was anyone else hurt?" She said making me cross my eye brows. I looked at Matt then back at Jamie.
"Umm Jamie do you know who I am?" I asked making her look at me. She crossed her eyebrows.
"You're the doctor" she said as a small gasp came from my lips. I nearly felt my heart sink. I stood up and walked to the doctor.
"Is this a joke? Why did she say I was a doctor?" I asked as he sighed.
"It looks like she has amnesia" he spoke as my eyes widened.
"What?" I asked as he nodded.
"It may take awhile for her memory to come back" he said as I brushed my hair back. Matt stood up and put a hand on. My shoulder.
"Doc how long do you think her memories will come back?" Matt asked as he looked at him.
"That will depend, she hit her head pretty hard so it may take more than 2 weeks" he said as I looked at him.
"More than 2 weeks?!?" I asked as he nodded. I looked at Jamie playing with a Rubix cube.
"I'm sorry" the doc said as he patted my shoulder and then turned to the door and left the room. I saw Matt walk towards Jamie.
"Jamie? Do your know who I am?" He asked as Jamie looked at him.
"You're my brother Matt" she said as I punched the wall and left the room.

I walked over to the end of the hall making me sit down at the side of a vending machine. I cupped my face into my hands. Jamie, I wish this never happened to you. 2 weeks is a long time without you remembering that we are dating. Dear lord please, give her her memories back, I love her too much to lose her.
