She awoke from her bedroom. She glanced at the clock.

7:16 AM

She sighed, getting out of bed. She walked downstairs and saw a cup of coffee poured for her. But she saw no sign of her significant other. She took the mug, taking a sip.

Moments of last night recurred in her mind. Him holding her. Her sobbing into his chest. How he hardly even flinched, just held her. How she felt as he held her.

Like their love had finally sparked again. But that was a lie. It was nothing but a mere comfort.

She felt uneasy. He had left her in the middle of the night. He got up and left her. She remembered. She awoke just a little as he left, but then falling asleep back again.

She thought it was fake. An illusion. A dream. But it was real. He got up and left her. She was left. Alone. Without him. She hardly even realised how much she needed him in her life.

She needed him there. With her. And any chance of that happened was squashed by herself. Her fault. She was possibly one of the worst human beings to walk this earth.

Her insides felt like it was eating her alive. She couldn't do it anymore. She bent over, grabbing her stomach. She groaned and put down her mug. She felt the guilt eating her up.

She went back up to the bedroom. She collapsed onto the bed. The pain was excruciating. She felt memories of them being together flash by her.

"Do you take Lily Woods to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"And do you, Lily Woods, take Shawn Mendes to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

She let out another groan. She almost screamed.

"Lily. I know we haven't been on that many dates but, uh, I was, uh, wondering if you'd like to be my girlfriend?"

"I'd love to."

She punched the bed. It was all her fault.

It was all her fault.
