8. Adopted

Viola's POV

-Flashback-

Being in a foster home, a orphan, was one of the worst things that

happened to me. Life was harsh and so were people, nobody cared for you.

Everyone is greedy, selfish, and dangerous. I don't even know when

I was first put in a foster home. I could have been a baby just born, a young

child. Why was I put in here? My parents are unknown. But in a foster

home sadness takes over everyone. Only happiness comes when they

leave this place. That's what I believed when I stayed there. I was bullied

by other orphans, I know they had there reasons so I let them. Nobody

wants to be here. The older you get the harder it is for you. Unable to do

anything about it is worst. I had no friends, no one. I gave up at the age

of 6 and started hoping others would be adopted. My kindness paid off .

Somebody noticed it and changed me.

?: "Hey, Cherry Blossom!"

Viola: "Huh? Oh, Hey Crystal."

I met Crystal about 1/2 a year ago. I was trapped at a corner being bullied

by a boy. His named is Anthony. He would always be messing with my pink
hair or teasing me about it. I let him because he always seem down and he

had no friends. She shoved the Anthony away from me, against a

cherry blossom tree. I felt a little bad for him. But I guess because of what

happened she calls me cherry blossom or it's because of my pink hair? It

doesn't really matter why because she was the first person I knew who

actually cared about me. She gave me a reason why I shouldn't let anybody

bring me down. She said that now I had someone to protect and she would
protect me. So we became friends who cared for each other. Crystal is

actually 8 years old and I'm 7 years old. Today is actually my birthday.

Crystal: "Hey, Cherry Blossom! Are you listening?"

Viola: "Sorry, what did you say?"

Crystal: "I have a surprise for you!"

Crystal: "Because it's your birthday silly. Why else? Now, come on." *giggles*
