Before the reception started I changed my dress and shoes but kept the rest of my outfit the same.

I was currently walking around talking to some relatives that I haven't seen for years with Finn. I was also close to killing the person that I just saw walked through the door looking like complete trash.

"Where the hell have you been and seeing as you're an hour and a half late you could've made an effort!" I whispered yelled at Kayla when I reached her.
"Sorry. Time escaped me, I couldn't help it." she told me.
"Fine whatever let's go to the girls. Finn's wandered off to some of his mates."

As we walked over to the girls. I noticed that my aunt was there as well.

"Sorry I'm late Carol. Time escaped me." Kayla told her.
"All that matters is you came. That is something my sister has failed to do." She reassured her.

I felt bad after she said that because I was meant to try and convince my parents to come. I tried but it didn't exactly work. I looked around and saw Thomas waddling towards me. I gasped and bent down to pick him up as he fell into my arms.

"Oh my God!! Thomas you need to stop growing up!" I told him.
"Sorry about that Ali." My uncle David said as he walked over. "Thomas always had a soft spot for you and he kept trying to get to you as you walked past."
"It's fine. Honestly." I said laughing.

That was when my little cousin decided to take another milestone.

"Awison" He said.
I smiled at him and everyone around us gasped. As Finn walked over looking grumpy I said:

"I win!" We had a bet seeing who's name he'd say first as we were the people he spent most of his time with seeing as we had to babysit him every week.

"Whatever. Also, I think you'll find that you're phones going off and before you ask I'll pay up tomorrow "

I handed David his son and searched through my clutch for my phone. When I found it, I got confused by who the number was.

Unknown number: u look so gorgeous right now. Meet me at the buffet in 5

What the hell? I hadn't given anyone my number and everyone that was in the guest list had it anyway. I decided to find out who it was so I made up the excuse that I needed to go to the bathroom.

When I got to the buffet, I noticed that Seth was standing there.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. I hadn't had a single conversation with him since that English lesson where he asked if he could sit next to me so why was he here?

"Thought I'd come say high to the most beautiful girl in my English class." He told me. What the hell is going on right now?
"Okay well how did you get my number?"
"Not that hard to get when pretty much everyone has it. Whether your friends or not, I've noticed that everyone has everyone else's number." He informed me.
"Small town. Everyone knows everyone else. That's beside the pont though. You should leave. I have to get back to my friends and aunt." I was about to walk away as he grabbed my wrist and kissed me.

He actually kissed me. We had one conversation and he kisses me! What the actual hell is wrong with this guy?

Before he broke away I heard footsteps retreating and I wondered who had seen.

"Been wanting to do that since I saw you on English. See you around Alison." With that he walked towards the door and me to my friends.

"You took your time. Your aunts cutting the cake and Thomas said he loves you." Kate told me.
"What can I say. He adores me." I said as we all walked over to the cake. I stood between Finn and my grandfather Gerald.

"Seems like you owe me double the amount seeing as he said he loves me." I whispered to Finn smiling.
"Not gonna happen. The bet only included the name so it's still only twenty." He said. His voice sounded so annoyed but I didn't know why. I guessed it was because of the bet.

As I was getting ready to leave, Finn walked up to me.

"Hey. The girls already gone?"
"Yeah, Kendall's mum picked them up. Their spending the night there but I need to get home."
"Need a lift?"

When I nodded he took my arm and practically dragged me to his car.

What's his problem? I thought. I didn't ask though because I knew better seeing as Finn and I had been friends for years.

As we got in he put on the radio and 'Photograph' came on.

"Remember the first time we heard this?" Finn asked smiling.
"Oh don't remind me. That was embarrassing." I groaned and put my head against the headrest while Finn chuckled in the drivers seat.
"I thought it was hilarious. You were so tipsy but you refused to show it. You know I've never seen you drunk." He stated
"Yeah and its going to stay that way. Unlike you I can hold my liquor." I looked at him as he pulled up into my drive next to my car.

"Thanks for the ride home Finn. You can stay the night if you want."
"You know there's no point. I live two doors down."
"Good point. Can you drive me to school Monday? I'm going to have terrible blisters. Theses shoes are new and very point toed." I told him.
"If you want me to."

We walked up to my front door and as I turned around to say bye I was greeted with a kiss. Finn was kissing me! Why? I have no idea!

When he pulled away I could tell he was embarrassed.

"Sorry." He said.
"It's fine." I whispered. I looked to the side and noticed the curtain move. Great! One of my parents saw so now everyone in my whole family would find out.

"Anyway I'll see you Monday."
"Yeah."

As he walked off I was left standing in front of my front door wondering what the hell had happened tonight to make two guys kiss me.

Me! The social outcast who had three best friends and someone who I liked for quite a few years.
