As I woke up, I remembered that it was Monday which meant that I had to give my friends their invitations for my Aunt Carol's wedding.

As I walked downstairs already dressed, I saw my parents were passed out on the couch with my cat Genevieve laying next to them.

My mum woke up suddenly as I went to grab the invitations from the coffee table

"Morning sweetie. You look nice." She commented.

My outfit consisted of black and white stripes leggings, a black collared dress, white combat boots and a diamond cross necklace. I also had my usual handbag that I used for school.

"Don't forget to give your friends their invitations to Carol's wedding." She whispered trying not to wake my dad up.

"I won't mum. I'll give them to them as soon as I see them." I told her.

"That's good." I walked towards the front door but stopped when my mum asked:
"When did you dye your hair sweetie?"

Typical! They never notice anything!

I didn't bother answering, I just went to my red '53 Fiat Vignale and drove to school. They probably wouldn't remember what I told them if I did answer.

When I got to school, I got a few weird looks as my outfit was less crazy and depressing as usual.

"What? No craziness today?" Finn asked me jokingly.
"Nope. Saving it for the wedding." I laughed. Laughing was always easier for me around Finn. It was always genuine.

Finn was one of my best friends. He was probably a bit above the girls but I never told either of them that because I didn't need to boost his ego. We'd known each other since we were three and he accepted me for who I was. I knew the reason as to why I am who I am and believed me while everyone in my family thought I was trying to get attention.

"Your aunts finally getting married?"
"Yeah and apparently your family is invited." I said hanging him the invitation.
"Well, I'm sure that we will all be delighted to attend. I've got to get to class Pic, seeya." He said using my old nickname. He kissed my check before he left.

This was usual for us but not because we were dating. Our parents expected us to become a couple so we did this to annoy them. It started off only around each others parents but then it became a thing.

Yes, I used to have feelings for Finn but I managed to get rid of them as I knew it would be far too awkward and ruin our friendship.

I walked into the courtyard and saw Kendall, Kate and Kayla sitting and talking. We all had a free period so we usually spent it together.

"One for you, you and you." I said as I handed out the invitations. "If you can't make it to the ceremony at least come to the reception please. My parents aren't going and I don't want to be left with my annoying cousin."

They all agreed expect kayla. She said she had plans but she never goes out which is weird. But She agreed to be there for at least the reception as I begged them for it. I never asked for anything so when I did, it usually happened.

I looked and Kendall and remembered about her party.

"Oh and yes I will be at your party. I'm guessing my job is the same as always so I'll handle the drinks." I stated
She laughs a little and nods. Kayla the said "Bring the Coke as well this time yeah? I don't like Malibu by its self" we laugh and I shake my head.

For the rest of the period we talked about outfits for the party and wedding.
