As I woke up, I realised that I had an English exam today and that my psychology teacher was going to help me find a placing.
I got up and went downstairs to my parents making breakfast and Finn sitting at the table laughing with them.
"What's going on here?" I asked picking up genevieve and walking over to the counter. I jumped up and sat on it with my cat still in my arms.
"Morning sweetie. You want some pancakes?" My mother asked. She was still trying to make up for Auntie Carol's wedding but she was trying to with the wrong person.
"No. I need to loose weight." I told her. She didn't seem shocked that I rejected her niceness because I barely said two words to her since the wedding.
"Since when? You're not fat and that's a fact." Finn interjected.
"You have to say that because you're my best friend" I said.
His face fell when I said that and I instantly felt bad. After a couple of seconds he became the Finn that I know and love and stuck his tongue out at me. Me being me I returned it.
"You're so childish." I commented laughing
"Yes but that why we're always going to be close." He added. It was true.
"Okay you two. Enough bickering. I have some news!" My mother squealed.
"What is it Mrs. Witch?" (yes my last name is witch. Get over it) Finn asked.
"Well, I'm three months pregnant!" She exclaimed.
I was appealed, angry and shocked. If they couldn't even bother to be around for the child they have now, then why have another?!
"God I hate you!" I screamed running out and into Finn's car. I had a spare key just in case he made me wait for him to finish whatever he was doing.
Finn got to me a couple of seconds after I left and got in the car in silence. After a few minutes he tried to talk to me about it.
"Look, this is your parents decision" He started
"What? To have more of a family and never be around for this little baby and leave me to look after it? Look I dont want to talk about it!" I said with clear venom in my voice.
"Okay. Then what do you want to talk about?"
"Can we talk after school instead? I just want to think." I told him.
We didn't say a word to each other for the rest of the drive.
