I was up at FIVE in the morning!!!!!
The wedding didn't start till noon so why was I up this early you may ask.

Because my aunt is a bliming perfectionist and wanted me to look perfect. She was up the best part of the night stressing about everything so she looks like a panda. Oh and guess who had to fix it? That's right me.

"What time did you go to sleep last night carol?" I asked her.
"I don't actually know. I'm just so worried that everything's going to go horribly" she told me.
"Well if you keep thinking like that something is more likely to."

I'd finished her makeup and it was still an hour till the ceremony so I decided to change into my outfit (picture above).

When I walked out she looked so pleased to see me.

"You look gorgeous! I'm so happy you're my maid of honour"
"Are you sure it's okay for me to wear this? It isn't too depressing for a wedding?"
"I said you can wear what you want and I meant it. Jay said he was fine with it as well. He wants a little something added to the wedding party and he says that your outfit is perfect" she hugged me and I hugged her back but we also tried not to smudge each others makeup.

Carol was more like my mum than my actual mum. She always complimented me and was always there for me. She was nearly always the first person I told about everything and she notices when somethings wrong even when she's not there.

"I think you have a visitor." she said as we pulled apart. I turned around and there was Finn looking very handsome in a black suit.

"I now see what you meant when you said you were saving the crazy for the wedding." He walked up to me and smiled, knowing that if he hugged me I'd kill him. (he'd smudge my makeup)

"Well the wedding also starts in a couple of minutes so go take your seat. Also are the girls here?"
"All but Kayla."
"She said she'd be here for the reception as she has plans. Now go away" I said as I pushed him out the door.

I turned back to my aunt Carol and we walked out to the veranda (the wedding is outside).

As the music started I walked down a couple of seconds before everyone else carrying my baby cousin down the aisle as well.

When my aunt walked down her face immediately lit up when she saw my uncle-to-be Jay.

When she finally reached the front, I realised that her mascara was slightly smudged and her eyes were red.

She's probably thinking about mum. Why couldn't she book the day off for her younger sisters wedding? I thought.

I have been standing here for about five minutes now carrying my cousin Thomas and my arms were starting to ache. He may look small but he's weighs a ton.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." the vicar announced.

When I saw them kiss I knew my aunt was finally happy. I smiled as I couldn't exactly clap with a six month old baby in my hands.

After they broke apart, my aunt turned to give me a hug. It was slightly awkward as I had Thomas in my arms but I could still tell how much it meant to her that I was here.

As we waited for everything to be set up for the receptions, I walked over to the girls and we all complimented each other. Finn also joined in on the girl talk. He can be such a girl sometimes!
