Piper POV
If anyone asks me one more time to see the ring, or is Annabeth a threat, they'll have my knife in their gut. It was fine at first, but now I wish it would stop. Am I going to call off the engagement? No. Why? I've decided not to leave. What's the point in leaving my home
"Are you packed?" Percy struggled to get the words out as we walked out of the stables. We had just finished feeding a few horses.
"No"
"Why?" I stared straight into his sea green eyes, my favorite color.
"I'm not going" A HUGE smile appeared on his face, and he picked me up by the waist and spun me around. His lips slowly touched mine, and he hugged me.
"This is great! I'm not going to ask why cause you might change your mind. EVERYONE! PIPER MCLEAN IS NOT LEAVING, SO WE ARE NOT BREAKING UP. KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF HER!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Percy" I hissed.
"What?" He pouted.
"Don't give me that look. Why'd you do that? Without doing this- ALSO, LADIES, IF YOU EVEN TOUCH PERCY JACKSON. THERE. WILL. BE. A. KNIFE. IN. YOUR. THROAT" Chiron glared at me. Like I care.
"See, this is why I love you. Annabeth would have gotten angry. You join in" For once, talking about Annabeth didn't hurt. People stared at us, and a few of my girl siblings glared Drew. I saw Nico out of the corner of my eye.
"Perce, when was the last time you talked to Nico? I questioned. Percy looked at me oddly.
"I don't know. Why?"
"When was the last time anyone talked to him?" I let go of Percy's hand and moved toward the dark son of Hades.
"Hey Nico" He slightly jumped, his hand on his sword. I smiled at him. He didn't smile back
"Are you okay? You seem more jumpy than usual" I asked.
"I'm fine" He wouldn't look me in the eye, and his hands wouldn't stop moving.
"Nico, what's wrong?"
"I-I can't tell you. You'll kill me" He said. I chuckled.
"Why would I do that? I don't know, you have to tell me what's wrong first"
"Leave it Piper. It'll never happen" He walked away, his sword clanking against his side.
"What was that about?" Percy asked, draping a arm over my shoulder.
"I'm not sure"
He shrugged and took my hand.
"C'mon. Let's go to the strawberry patch" He said. We walked in silence to the pink patch, and there were only a few people there.
"Percy, do you think we should start planning-" I was afraid to say weddings, but I'm not sure why. It felt like if I said it, something bad would happen.
"Nah. Let's just enjoy now" It bothered me that he procrastinated, but I brushed it off.
"This is nice. Do you remember the last time we had a nice moment?" He laughed.
"No. It seems like- millions of year ago" He pecked my cheek
"I feel like- oh, never mind"
"What?"
"It's just, I kinda wanna hang out with Annabeth, but I'm afraid it'll just be weird" Everytime I see her around camp, or I need help academically, it's weird. It's true, she's still- Annabeth.. Okay, maybe not. She seems more down. Like, Nico. I sometimes get the feeling that that's not the real Annie. Like they did something to her, in the under world.
"Piper- am I going crazy, or is that a LOT of purple?" I looked up, like right above my head, and in the sky, was a LOT of purple.
"CHIRON!!"
